Good afternoon,

Just waiting for my wife to get home from her meeting to start making dinner, turkey tacos! It has been a long day, but I took it easy, just cleaned up a bit. Hmmm, should I surprise my wife with some brownies? I am leaning that way. cheesy

Talk to you later tonight.

If she doesn't want them, I'll take them!!!!!

Taking a very late lunch today at least I get one though! I just volunteered to house sits for 3 puppies this weekend....3 un house trained puppies!!! I am looking forward to it though. I am taking my dog(snowball)with me it's for a friend who is going to be out of town for a wedding,he lives in Tallahassee which is like a hour and a half drive from where I live, and I would much much rather house sit them there than in my clean house. I can't tell you how long it's been since I have tried to house train a dog. I just hope I can relax and don't get all excited and stressed over the little things. Brandi said I should go alone and she would stay behind because she has finals to and end of school year stuff to get done. I will take my laptop in case I have alot of downtime.I will leave friday morning and take friday off and come ack on sunday afternoon, this is the first time I have gone anywhere for the weekend in 2 months....well I am about to eat chili, and the weather is still cool here..we had frost this morning!!!! have a great day all!

dude...ARE YOU A GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT????????????? 3 puppies @ the same time? poor Snowball (just kidding). yeah, that's what Brandi "told" you dawg. i'd stay home in my neat clean house too!!!! again, just kidding!!!!

I received my final grade in Statistics today - an 89% which is the highest B. I wish it was a 90! The class is 4 credits which means it is about as hard as you can get, so the A would have provided more weight for my grade. I'll take the 89 though, especially for a math class!

c'mon jennifer91 you made a fabulous grade for math. i'm gonna tell you something & i want you to always remember this......................

never, ever, never do the "what if" thing or "if only" or "but i wish". you did a great job!! reward yourself, build a bridge & move along!!!!! be proud of doing what you did!

Good afternoon MMC friends and Merry Christmas Eve in April! I am listening to Christmas music right now and plan to watch something festive tonight. I am about to get ready for the day, helping a friend out with some stuff.

Have a wonderful Christmasy day everyone!!

:celebrate:

hey caroline!!!! hope you had a good day w/ your friend. so what movie or festive thing are you gonna watch tonight? enjoy it!

hay ya'll!!

got in from work a little bit ago. my feet are killing me. i have 2 pair of the skecher shape-ups. i've already quit wearing 1 pair & now the 2nd pairs gotta go too. the odd thing is they started hurting my toes, not my heels. most people say the heels give out 1st. good thing it's spring. i 'm just about ready to turn to my flip flops for a couple months. i've been wearing those skechers for 2 years now, that's alot w/ how often i wear them to work. i love my flops anyway...

hubby's taking off to indiana on sunday, buffalo on wednesday, then the same day to canada. Toronto to be exact. the plant he works @ is about to undergo a major overhaul & he's gotta check out all the new machines they will be bringing in.
i think i'm gonna suggest a "date night" friday for us. Lord knows we could use it!!!

have a good evening ya'll, i'm gonna go get some supper now!:point:

Sounds like you guys could use some time together before he leaves.

Good evening, MMC friends. How is everyone doing? I'm well. I'm just getting ready to head to bed and take a nap before work.

Nothing is new here. Both kids have been so fussy today. They both have teeth coming in. I feel bad for them. I am sure it's very painful.

Well, I am off to bed. I will talk to you all tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy the rest of you're evening and you have a good day tomorrow!

I know this may not interest some of you, but here is a story about the recording of one of my favorite Christmas songs. The real interesting part was how Roy made the studio feel Christmassy in August to record the song, and how the cash register sound in the beginning of the song is now the sample many use for sound effects, and how they got the right sound for it. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/289167/Roy-Wood-Santa-Claus-of-pop-music

Hey! And thanks, I did have a pretty good day. I just decided to watch Scrooged. I love Bill Murray and that is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies!

Just wanted to share with you all that today at Walmart I saw Christmas necklaces! They were on the front corner of the jewelry counter in their own little display case. They had candy canes, snowmen, santa and Christmas tree ones and they were all silver with a little red detail. They were so cute! Definitely would have bought one if I had the cash.

:yahoo:

dancing with the stars is on again, elimination time! Hard to say who will be in the dance off, which is a new feature I really do not like. I think it should just be who is the lowest that goes. Anyway, my opinion.
Gladys and Roshan are in the bottom two this time and will be doing the dance off. I hope Gladys wins!!

Good Morning, Friends.

Half way to the Weekend.

And mark this well:
Days to the Season: 202
Days to Christmas Day: 244
Well, there you have it.
Tomorrow! Another Milestone -- the 1/3 Season marker.
Then -- the very next day -- we step through the 200-day Season Window into the ever-popular 100's territory.

And that excitement has got Carl all worked up.
Since this is the final 'Pines open house of April (can we be that far along through the year already??) Carl has created a theme of "April Showers Bring May Flowers"
The 'Pines is decorated to the hilt with flowers of all sorts. It has never been so beautiful.
(Be sure to bring your camera!)
And the door prize -- not one, but TWO dozen roses.
Sweet!
But BEWARE! An anonymous source claims to have seen Carl busy in the kitchen with coffee beans and some extra chrysanthemums.
Oh, Oh!

Another cold night, and we have started off at 48 degrees here in the capital city.
Fortunately, the chilliness will be short-lived and by this afternoon, we will hopefully be into the 70's with no rain in sight.

OK-Zers!
You have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Particularly Perfect Pines Day visit, Folks!
