I know SIT posted about my uncle's passing but I am not here for doom and gloom but something I thought would make you all smile. We were going through some things at my uncles house and I never realized how many little Christmas decorations were blended in with his decor throughout his whole house! I found something in each room, there were little Santa figurines, snowglobes, snowmen, Christmas candles and more. This is all part of his year round decor. It doesn't look tacky at all, it looks really nice how he has it all displayed. It gave me a smile while going through tough times. You know, he passed away on Rudolph Day. Christmas was a big part of him!

I haven't read any of the post but SIT told me the kind words posted here and I appreciate it very much.

I probably won't be back on for awhile because we are still taking care of business but will check back soon! I miss you all!

Continue to pray for the whole family.

What wonderful memories you will have of your uncle.

On the Weather.com website it says we are going to have a cooler than average summer,

It looks like that heat is going to shift north. We are supposed to get above average highs here in the midwest.

Good evening,

We just received a call from our family in Canada, my grandmother-in-law suffered a brain aneurysm, and is in the hospital, it isn't looking good right now, please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers.
we will be praying...where in Canada does she live?

oh man, here, football is life! both my boys were linemen on their high school teams & 1 was on a football scholarship but gave it up. the other turned down his football scholarship. i'm not @ all into college football but my menfolk are. they've been watching the clock this afternoon waiting for this to come on & it will stay on all WEEKEND!!!!!

LUCK LOOKED PRETTY HAPPY IN THAT CAP MADE!!!
FYI- STEPHON GILMORE, THE ONE THAT WAS JUST CHOSEN FOR BUFFALO, BOTH MY BOYS PLAYED HIM. FROM THE TIME THEY WERE 10 & IN REC LEAGUE. HE'S FROM ROCK HILL, S.C..

That's cool, like i said I never criticize what anybody likes or dislikes. Everybody's different, and has their reasons for why they like or dislike something.

It's mainly because there isn't anything else on tv that I want to watch. So I figured that I might learn a few things if I watched it and hopefully it will put my niece to sleep.

I think watching it would have the same effect on me as your niece. I remember years ago before there were so many ESPNs, they used to not televise the NASCAR race live because of the draft. They would show it later on tape. That used to make me so mad.

Uplifting CAH and the rest of the family in prayer right now. Blessings on all of you.

CAH's uncle passed away suddenly this morning. This comes as a shock as it was totally unexpected, he had some health issues and was sick these past few days, but it didn't seem all that serious. In fact he was planning on going to the doctor today if he didn't feel any better. We appreciate any and all thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We used to go over his house every Christmas Eve which was always a good time, in fact I think he had his tree up before we did every year. I am sure this coming Christmas will be very difficult as well. Thanks.

Well I am off work today, the third day since CAH's uncle passed. I guess since I am not as emotionally connected I have been the steadying force and kind of helping everybody deal with everything. Not that it hasn't affected me emotionally, I have had my moments of tears as well, and I will miss him too. But out of everyone else involved, I guess I am the most disconnected. Her uncle's first wife has been a huge help as well, even though they were divorced, they have stayed good friends.

We do appreciate all the kind words and prayers from everyone, you all are a great bunch of people, and I am glad to know you all.

Great refreshments, Meceka. Especially loved the oatmeal, craisin, chocolate chip and black walnut bars. Yummo!!!

Good afternoon, MMC!

I dropped off some Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and a batch of oatmeal, craisin, chocolate chip and black walnut cookie bars at the Pines - hope you enjoy them! I barely had time to get a cup of Carl's special brew before I headed back to work. Not sure what was in it, but I have gotten my second wind - it is going to be a productive evening! If I can, I'll stop in on my break cheesy

Have a MERRY time tonight!!!

Ivy will die tomorrow. She decompensated and has been back in the hospital since Wednesday. There is no hope. We have an appointment tomorrow at 1:30. Thank you for all your prayers. I know it is the right thing to do but I am nothing less than a murderer. At least that is how I feel. If it were a person, this would not be allowed.

Anyway, I am not making sense. I am beyond sad.
I sent you a PM

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Friends.

No.
Yours truly did not forget to take down the Milestone Day header.
The simple fact is, we have Milestones on two successive days!

And Folks, just look.
That magnificent 200-day Season Window has been flung open revealing 100's territory which we will begin to explore tomorrow.
WOW!
Isn't this exciting?
(Almost makes me want to drink some of Carl's coffee!! -------- Nah!)

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I finally got a haircut yesterday, and although there was apparently a bit of drama going on between the three ladies that work there, it turned out pretty good. At one point the girl cutting my hair, while having a barely-civil conversation with a fellow hairdresser, walked out in tears...with half of my head cut! I thought I would leave and come back another day...but half of my head was cut!

She finally came back (15 mintues later), apologized, and started cutting again. Her hands were shaking, and she hooked my ear a couple times with that sharp comb of hers, but we got through it with minimal bloodshed. Yippee!

I'll be opening Bernie's store tomorrow, then I have to go to my cousin's grandmother's funeral, then we're going to Elizabeth's dance recital. Sounds like I have a full day in store.

I'll look forward to seeing you all at Bernie's for breakfast!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good evening,

We just received a call from our family in Canada, my grandmother-in-law suffered a brain aneurysm, and is in the hospital, it isn't looking good right now, please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

I finally finished my project at work today, it was quite a thing.

My Bruins lost last night, you know I am not as upset as I thought I was going to be, I am still reveling in last years championship, to see a player lift the cup with that spoked B on the their chest was something I had always dreamed about, I guess I am satisfied by that. But of course there are some sick people who call themselves fans out there who are "tweeting" racist comments about the player who scored the game winner, as he is of African descent. It is making me sick that people would do that at all, never mind a game. People need to grow up. Sorry for the little rant, it just tweeks me to read there are people who are doing that.

Have a good night everyone.

Thinking of you all, xmas. Prayers going up!

Good evening Christmas family

I am finished with my old company. I just have to make out my last log sheet with my time and then I can delete them from my computer.

With so many serious and sad things happening to our Christmas family I hesitate to mention anything but I wanted to let you all know.

On my way to my first blood test. Wish me luck that my blood count is up!!!

Thinking of you, Seawaters!! Good luck today!

What a wonderful post, Merry.

Bless your heart, Louann. I'm so sorry this is upon you. I wish our beloved pets could live as long as we do, but I firmly believe that you will be seeing Ivy again. Until then, remember the happy times with her.

Take care.

I can't remember the exact quote or who said it, but it says, "When you get to heaven, every dog you've ever owned will come running to greet you."
