good morning ya'll!!! we had some major storms here yesterday. i was looking forward to spending time w/ ya'll yesterday too. bummer!i think there was about 2 hours when it wasn't storming but, unfortunately, i was napping then. we got buckets of rain & we needed it so badly. thank God for it!! i'm scared to death to be on the computer, watching tv, or using any electrical devises in a storm. i ended up going to bed @ 8 last night because it was so quiet in the house. all my pups were scared too so we went to bed & cuddled. that usually calms them down some.
i enjoyed my day off yesterday but it's back to work today. my daughter gets out of school thursday. they have school on friday but she has no exams so she doesn't have to go. i have a pretty big outdoor wedding this weekend to do. feeling anxious about it, just want to make sure all my flowers come in looking good. i think the bride is very picky & i can't blame her, every bride wants their wedding to be beautiful.

ya'll take care! love, hugs, & smiles!!!

Hope you wedding goes good . stop worrying your flowers will be lovely, your see lol...nice of you to take the babies to bed. they wood feel more claimer with you there..

Tea products at Starbucks

They also sell fruit smoothies and variations on hot chocolate.

i Have never been in one..the nearest one is about 20 mile.. but next time am going in.. the tea and hot cholocate is a must ...

I'm surprised that I was the top poster both of those years. I really don't talk that much in real life.
That's because your neighbor does all the talking in real life.

I love the coffee there but I have had the smoothies and they are REALLY GOOD! They make them dairy free too for those who cannot have dairy.

My 2 year granddaughter has been watching some Christmas movies here at my house lately. She picked out, To Grandmother's House We Go, yesterday. She loves watching the Olson twins since they are close to her age in this movie.

I hope you all have a Merry Day! :hi:

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning.

Yes! Oh, Yes!!
Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Another Milestone has been reached.
As of today. That's TODAY, Folks.
We are half way around to Christmas Season 2012!

Impossible, you say?
Why, not at all. Just do the math.
(Or save yourself the trouble and look at our handy-dandy Milestone Marker chart located at post #1 of this thread.)

Days to the Season: 182
Days to Christmas Day: 224

Got some rain yesterday.
More possible today and tomorrow.
No matter. We could use it.
The temperatures have been pleasantly in the 70's.
We stand at 67 currently.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Friends.
Get yourself ready for Carl's big bash tomorrow in honor of the half-way point being reached.
No telling what's he's got planned.
(Don't miss out!)

I have never been in a coffee shop that can make a great cup of tea, or even a good one. Starbucks is no exception. They all think throwing a tea bag in a cup makes tea, what a joke!

have not tired any of thier smoothies, tend to stay out of Starbucks because they are so expensive

That it is disappointing, but if you need some retro Christmas TV, I can't remember who posted the link to this site, but here you go: http://betamaxmas.com/

Whoever posted it originally I want to thank you again, I love the site. You can read the TV Guide to tell whats on, and change the channels too!
I agree, this is great! This website should be a member of the Merry Network!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had WWIII at the house this morning before work. My 14 year old son insisted that he didn't have to go to school today. The upper school students only have to stay at school long enough to take finals this week, but since he had all A's, he exempted taking finals. It sounded ok until our daughter said that she was told that today was a regular 1/2 day, then they could leave.

It turns out my son was wrong. He was supposed to be at school, but they debated it so long that he was going to be tardy. He has just enough tardies that one more makes it roll over into an absence even if he goes to school. Since they were not doing any real school work today, they suggested just keeping him home. So he got his way anyway. But I told him that if there are ANY repercussions on his report card, I'm taking his XBox for the whole summer. That's the only reason he wanted to skip out any; to play that doggone XBox.

Ugh. Sorry, I had to get that out. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Yup, been there and done that... For the longest while that Xbox and my son, drove us nuts because that's all he did was sit in front of the Xbox all day during the summer, while we were at work and all evening long. We ended up taking it away from him (when he wasn't doing his chores or not listening to us) for awhile and it worked. That temporay move, got his attention real fast and then he started to pay more attention to us and his responsibilities. Now he's going on 20 and we wish he was home more often playing his Xbox; that way, we would know where he is and who he's with more often....

Hahaha! That was funny, but I don't believe it one bit!!
You're much to sweet, my friend!
