Did they really just show 2 days above 90 degrees in the 10 day forecast? This is may not july. Our high's should be in the mid 70's right now. :-(

NOOOOO! Do you have central a/c or window units? We have window units and I'd be dragging them out with those temps!

We have a window unit that is permanently built into the wall in the living room. I also have a second one to put in my bedroom window if it gets to bad. The new one they put in the living room last year is pretty good at keeping it cool in here though. Of course that may be because I keep it set at like 60 degrees.

we have a window unit but only in the livingroom. I want to get a small one for the bedroom this year so I do not have to sleep on the couch when it gets really hot.

I'm lucky that my apartment is all on one level. Most of the time I can just stick a fan in the hallway leading to the bedrooms and it will blow the cold air back there. There are some days though that even that doesn't work and I'm thankful for the second unit.

What a week this has turned out to be! So glad to have almost made it to friday though. And next weekend will be a 3 day weekend too.I hope to be able to catch up here this weekend,I sure miss the days of being able to browze online all during the work day..I don't think I am likely anytime soon to be able to do that! Things at home are going good, busy but good, tomorrow is brandi's last day with the kids..then 3 days next week post planning then summer school for 4 weeks. Then we will hopefully go to Oregon for a week for a family reunion. Well have a good night everyone,I hope to catch up with everyone this weekend!g'night!

Hey friends, just want to say a quick hello. I haven't been on the computer much as of late. I babysit my darling little 8 month old grandson 4 days a week and it keeps me very very busy! I love it though. Anyway, still think of all of you and how much we all love the best time of the year! Sending good thoughts out to all of you, wherever you are and wishing you all only the best. Take care until next time!

I'm home!!!!! Whew that was a long day of babysitting. My sister needs to stop volunteering to help with stuff. Now I'm off to find something for dinner and then I'll be back to get caught up. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

We call that at work being voluntold cheesy

Good evening,

Busy, crazy day at work today, one of my employees injured herself and missed most of the day, she will be out a week because she hurt her wrist, I hope she heals fully and quickly because she is probably my strongest person. I would rather have her be out and healed 100% then come back too early and cause more damage.

Another day there tomorrow, and no Cub Scouts or baseball practice so we will have an evening to relax together for a change.

Have a great night!

Graduation is over....tomorrow is Friday....and the weekend with time to kill on the boards is fast approaching....

Brad, I love hearing about those November orders....I often am intrigued when it comes to how and when people and businesses get ready for Christmas....

Off to bed....see y'all tomorrow night late.....gotta go buy some groceries....

I am in mourning over Donna's passing.. I am wearing all black...

YABBA!~

You know, I was just sitting here thinking and wishing that, (when I was reading your posting) we had a 3 day weekend, every weekend, just to keep caught up, get more done around the house, spend more time with the kids and of course, my better half... I would be happy with a (4) 10 hour day work week, just to have the longer weekend!

I have to say, that a personal mystery has just been solved...
I was, am and have been so totally confused in the past few days, about just "what in the heck" was everyone talking about here, with fried twinkies, The Pines and the camel thing (the camel with the make-up on, just a little bizzarre:lol:)! I was starting to think that either I'm off my nut or everyone else was;LOL... So, right now, just after I read the "The History of Carl, The 'Pines, and Fired Twinkies"
The light bulb finally came on and since no one is in the office yet, there was a very audible, "Ohhhhh that's what their talking about"....

Anyway, That's funny; you guys are a scream.... :hi:

Well.....
We're all a little off our nuts here -- but in a good way!

Good Morning, Folks.

Another Weekend Eve has arrived......
along with another new count figure:
Days to the Season: 179
Days to Christmas Day: 221

Hey! Hey! Hey!
Three weeks from today -- the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
Then, BOTH of our count figures will be in the 100's.
(Won't time start to pass quickly, then!)

More rain yesterday but now we are supposed to be in for a nice dry spell with moderate temperatures and still relatively low humidity.
The "best of times" weather-wise!

You have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a Krazy Kick-off to your Weekend this afternoon.
All in the spirit of the Christmas Season, of course!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a warm day here in central Indy with a high of 81 degrees. Right now we are sitting at 60 degree's though so I am going to get out and do some walking. Then it will be off to my sister's to babysit once again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

The weekend can't come soon enough for me. It's supposed to be warm and mostly sunny, and (unless I'm forgetting) there aren't any "have-to's" planned. It hasn't been an especially bad week, I think I'm just run down by the daily grind. I've been saving my vacation days for our trip in June and the convention in July (plus two or three days in December), so I haven't had any time off since December (except for weekends and holidays, of course) except a couple days when I was out sick. I'd love to have a day or two off to be lazy in, but my vacation days are all spoken for.

I have to say, that a personal mystery has just been solved...
