I was talking to my brother and suddenly thought, why is it getting darker already, must be a storm coming. But looking outside there is not a cloud in the sky. Then I looked at the clock, it was well after 8 already. Where did the day go? LOL

Happy Saturday everyone! it's been a long day of yard work,I am about to wash up and slip under the covers for a nice long sleep. I need to also take some meat out of the freezer to thaw out in the fridge..I think we will have fried chicken tomorrow! Goodnight everyone!

Yum! It's hard to find real fried chicken up here. I get some when we go back to Maryland to visit, but we're not going to get there this year. Make some extra for me!

Just a quick post before I watch TV. Hubby and I went to Taco Bell for dinner. One of the employees started whistling a song. I looked up with suprised eyes. The song? "Up on the Housetop"!!! As we left, I asked who was whistling Christmas songs. The cashier said, "Was I doing that again?" I told her I was coming straight home to post to MMC about her!!!

bosses are wonderful are they not?They live in a world all thier own...

My boss is usually great, but I guess his superiors were on him so the trickle down effect runs right to me, so on the busiest day of the week we have several little projects to do instead of focusing on the customer, sometimes I question the reasoning.

I hope everyone had a good first half to their weekend!

I had a fun day with my family and friends. I got a lot of cleaning done this morning which made me feel good to get it out of the way. Then my family grilled out steaks for dinner and they were delicious. We invited my grandpa over and played corn-hole for a couple of hours with ourselves and family friends. My best friend moved home from college and we spent the evening hanging out, had a drink, and playing with his new puppy. The puppy is by far the most adorable little guy I've ever seen, he's only 2 months old. What a great day/night!

I am watching a show, unwinding, and then I am off to bed. Night everyone!

kinda bummed cos my best soccer team lost the champions league final yesterday being the better team and all.....but they didn´t take advantage of their chances and that punished em in the end....chelsea played horrible...they didn´t really play at all...but they used their one chance from a corner that tied the game that ended in the penalty shoot-out...horrible.....But congrats to Chelsea....they were lucky in the end and took home the trophy....well done Chelsea

Back from a trip downtown where they (the downtown merchants) were giving free horse drawn carriage rides, my daughter asked me to go with her. I t was fun, got to talk to some ladies visiting from Chicago.

It has gotten much hotter today than first predicted. It is now 28c (about 82f)

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

He is still eating very little, but he is okay, still very weak though. The vet won't return our calls for some reason, when we call to see what else we can do.

I will keep praying for Milo!

Hello everyone, it's been months since I was on the forum.....so I thought I'd pop in and get some Christmas spirit! It's been very busy around here--my youngest daughter moved to Indiana last Tuesday, and we've been doing a lot to get her ready. Now I have time to sit around and feel sorry for myself :sad:. Well. It's official I AM THE BONE HEAD QUEEN OF 2012. On second thought, let's make that the BONE HEAD EMPRESS. I WASHED my IPOD by accident today. Thanks to Made who has been giving me tips on Facebook it is now resting in a containing sumberged in Uncle Ben's white rice, uncooked of course. I don't know if it will work, and I know this sounds really stupid, but PLEASE PRAY THAT IT COMES BACK....The reason I am so desperate is that there were videos of Ivy on it :sad:

I hope everyone is doing well. It has been a really pretty day here today. I went walking in the yard a number of times with my other three canines, Hermione, Clancy and Wishbone in between when I was kicking myself over and over for being so ........AAAARRRRGH.

It is not long now until Christmas In July and I am really looking forward to it as well as the Hallmark Ornament premiere !

Well, gotta go. computer says plug into another power source NOW !!

Aw, thank you for the hugs, CM3 - your timing is perfect as I need them this morning! I'm sorry about your I-pod - it seems like that is the thing to do this week - I know so many people who have washed/dropped into water their electronic devices. When I was waiting in line at McD's, one lady said she dropped her phone in the pool, but she didn't use rice to dry it out. She removed the battery and kept it out in the sun for several days. Said it worked great. I, too, am looking forward to CIJ - what fun!!! Have a great day, my friend and super big hugs to you and your fur kids!!! {{{{CM3 and kids}}}

Morning! Went running this am and now I am sitting with my gigantic cup of coffee! Not even 9 am and got laundry washed and folded, got the kids some bagels, and have a poundcake baking for dessert at my grandparents' today. Wooo hoo! I love it when I hear or see the unexpected touch of Christmas this time of the year.
Wow, that got there quick! Yes Stratford is famous for everything Shakespeare. Not sure if I noted on the post card, but that downtown street is one of my favorite to hang out on and explore the wonderful shops there.
