X-mas - How is Milo ?? I pray that he will be better.
[

He has put on some weight, but still pretty weak, he is getting better slowly. Thank you for asking.

Hmmm.. how crazy would I be to take a very calm 4-year-old and a little bit nutty not-quite-2-year-old alone to Byer's Choice alone? It's only about 10 minutes from my house and free! I was going to do it today but little guy just got up ... maybe Thursday AM. I will take lots of pics if I go!

That is quite crazy, I would never take my 2 to a place like that, we don't even take them to Walmart anymore because they are absolutely nuts at all stores. I wish we had a Byer's Choice store around here. My uncle in Pennsylvania collects those carolers.

Good afternoon,

Back from my Dr appt, the chicken smells delectable, the boys are getting use to spending some time in timeout, they are bonkers and beating the snot out of each other, as everyone tells us boys will be boys. I can't wait until they are (enter sarcasm) teens, the fighting will be worse, and when they aren't fighting they will scheming. So much to look forward to. The rain is keeping them inside, so no burning of energy today. Almost time to make taters and stuffing.

Enjoy the afternoon!

HA, I feel your pain. My little guy is NUTS at stores! If I keep him occupied with things to get, he's ok usually but not always. My girlfriend said everything is behind glass (except the store) so I might try it on Thurs AM.. we'll see if I have the guts!

I never drive into Boston, when we go we take the Pike to the Riverside T terminal and take the T in. I love the T, we have taken it to New England Aquarium, Boston Science Museum, Bruins games, Faneuil Hall, it takes you anywhere. Going to Fenway is always a treat within itself, but it is so expensive to buy tickets, I can't wait to take my boys there but it may be a few more years. I know part of the fun is getting a Fenway Frank, but I always prefer the Italian sausage with peppers & onion outside of the park.

You can tell when you're close to Fenway, 'cause you can smell the sausages!

MerryCarey - I LOVED the movie Rhubarb !! I had forgotten all about it. Isnt Ray Milland in that one ??

Yes, that's right. We have the one-sheet (movie poster). If you remind me I think I can dig up a photo of it when I get home.

I want to go home ... waiting to be released. Hope no more jobs are coming today ...

back from taking mom to the store to get some cedar bark mulch for her garden. supper is done and so am I .
Dancing with the stars finale is on tonight, it is so close this year impossible to predict.

What a long day! I ran errands for about four hours this afternoon. Now I just ate supper and I am not feeling so hot. Last night as soon as I laid down in bed my stomach started cramping and hurting. I thought that was all gone this morning, but now it's back again and driving me crazy. I hope it doesn't turn into something more and that it passes before I go to bed tonight.

I was walking through my neighborhood yesterday in the evening and guess what? One of my neighbors has a Christmas wreath hung on their door! I not saying it's your traditional wreath with the Christmas bow and all, but it had the colorful lights and sure looked pretty. Maybe if I go past tonight (depending on how I feel) I'll snap a picture.

The super hot and humid weather we've been having really makes me miss Christmas. I would much rather hang out in my Christmas pajamas, have a glass of hot cocoa, and watch Christmas movies than roast my behind off and hide in the A/C!

At least Christmas in July is soon :]

I am home but I am hoping my children release me from duty soon and GO TO BED EARLY. So tired... and it's only 6:15... ack!

I've been a daze all day. The gallons of coffee haven't even helped. I'm just getting to old to go to bed at 4 and get back up at 7:30.

It is Christmas morning on the Beverly Hillbillies!
A beautiful tree set up in the front lobby and they are opening gifts, trying to figure out what they are LOL
Granny thinks the new TV is a washing machine.

I love it when these unexpected Christmas shows come on TV!!

LOL - how funny that your neighbor has a wreath up! Someone in my town has lights - THAT ARE TURNED ON DAILY - still! Icicle lights! HA! I mean, come on now.. that's a bit weird, and I am nutty about Christmas (says the lady with Christmas bubble lights as nightlights year-round!)

Where in PA are you? I was such a grouch today and couldn't figure out why- until I realized it's the HUMIDITY! I can't handle it! I turn into an evil witch! They are calling for near-90 and humid at the end of the week... we only have window units so I am going to tell my husbnad to put them in! Blech!

Good evening, MMC!

I was so burned out when I got home, and still had tons of laundry to fold and the dishes to put away, etc. ... so I got a mug of tea with a cinnamon stick in it, put on some Christmas music to fold by. The tea and the music helped! It's been gray and dreary all day, and a heavy workload at the office today besides. It's about time to rustle up a little dinner and then turn on the TV and pick up the crochet hook. I'm losing altitude again.
