Sitting at home today waiting on someone coming to fix my internet. Hasn't worked right in a month. Fingers crossed they can get it up and running again. My wife and I are going to view some houses tonight in our never ending quest for a new house. I think we might have a Domino's pizza tonight, so much for the diet lol. Hope everyone has a great day.

I am reading a mystery by Katia Lief and a HILARIOUS book called Let's Pretend It Never Happened. The author uses the f-word a lot, but the rest is SO FUNNY! I have been laughing out loud as I read.

I'm going to look those up - I haven't read a really funny book in a long time!

Goodnight all :hi:

Tomorrow morning I leave beautiful Germany and head back to Ireland.

I've had a wonderful week here and cant wait to come back at Christmas for the markets

That sounds like a lot of fun! Have a safe trip home!!

I am sad about it ending, too! That's always been a show the hubby and I have watched together... I just hope it's a happy ending.

Me, too - happy endings are so much better.

Good luck with the Internet and house hunting.

Good morning, everyone. We've been up for about an hour here and now we're getting some things cleaned up. We're soon going to cook breakfast and tear down the rest of the way, then go shopping for the day. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning once again, my Friends.

Onward we march through another week, another month and another year.
Onward and onward once again back to the Christmas Season, one of the few dependably continuing constants in our lives.

Thus we note another count figure:
Days to the Season: 175
Days to Christmas Day: 217
And today's count sees us passing under 2 1/2 weeks until the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone on the way into the double 100's zone.

We stand at a very pleasant 64 degree start to our day here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.
If the rain holds off, we should be in for another great day with low humidity and a high in the low 80's.

You -- each and every one -- regardless of beverage choices or sleep preferences -- have a Terrific Tuesday in keeping with the spirit of the Season!

Give a shout if that happens again. I can direct your problem to someone who can help. Or send a PM to Jeff. He's looking into whitney's technical difficulty.

Thanks, Merry!! Very nice of you =)

At the risk of sounding ignorant, what is Victoria Day for?

Victoria Day, also known as May Two-Four weekend, is a Canadian holiday. It is celebrated in honor of the birthdays of both Queen Victoria and the current monarch of Canada.(Queen Elizabeth) There are parties in the parks, fireworks and parades in some cities. It is the official start of summer for us, and the first long weekend for camping or opening up the cottage.

Good Morning MMC!

Tuesday already, feels like Monday just getting off a long weekend.

Picked a bunch of rhubarb yesterday that I have to process today.

There is a light rain still coming down, very much needed here. Much cooler this morning too.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We spent 12 hours in Universal Studios yesterday. Wow, that seemed like work! Our hotel is next door to the park, so we thought we'd walk back yesterday, but after walking a short ways, we grabbed cab instead. I was beat...and I hadn't had a cup of coffee all day!

I thought the Starbucks was nearby, but it's a couple blocks away. Even so, I was skipping like a schoolgirl down the sidewalk this morning, dreaming of my tall, bold cuppa joe! It was worth all the ridicule I suffered for skipping down the street, too...ahhhhh.

Ok, I didn't really skip, but I would have if that was the only way to get a cup of coffee!

We're off to Island of Adventure this morning. I hope this old man can keep up.

Y'all have a great day! cheesy

I don't think I've ever seen or tasted rhubarb, but it reminds me of the Batman movie in which Jack Nicholson plays the Joker. He tells Batman, "Never rub another man's rhubard!"

Lotsa work on my desk, so I'll say hello and good morning, and run ...

"Rhubarb" (1951) is also a fun movie about a cat who inherits a baseball team ...

GOOD MORNING! :hi:
I have been so busy lately and missing MMC!

The kids last day of school is next week and we are making our summer plans.

Anyone have any big plans for summer?

We always say that even if the Sox have a bad day, spending an afternoon at Fenway is worthwhile. I'm glad we're going this season, when it's Fenway's 100th birthday. Mr.'s brother shares season tickets with some other guys, and if there are games that nobody is using, he'll sell us a pair of tickets. Grandstand seats above the home dugout---not bad! (depending on who's sitting around you). We take the commuter rail out there, so we don't pay for parking, but you can go broke getting something to eat, if you have anything left after paying for the ticket!

I never drive into Boston, when we go we take the Pike to the Riverside T terminal and take the T in. I love the T, we have taken it to New England Aquarium, Boston Science Museum, Bruins games, Faneuil Hall, it takes you anywhere. Going to Fenway is always a treat within itself, but it is so expensive to buy tickets, I can't wait to take my boys there but it may be a few more years. I know part of the fun is getting a Fenway Frank, but I always prefer the Italian sausage with peppers & onion outside of the park.
