Stay Safe and turn on the fans so it heads this way!!!!! It seems like forever since we've had a good thunderstorm. Of course there are about 300,000 people 20 miles from here that are happy that it isn't headed this way.

Stay cool, Made! We have had a good thunderstorm off and on all day - all weather forecasts I heard/saw said it would clear out by noon. Ha! It is almost 5:30 and the sun is finally out. We really needed the rain, though, so I am very thankful!

I will be just fine, thank you..
Have to take things slow for a long time.

I will be praying for you that you stay safe throughout the storm! Isn't a shame how the weather can change so quickly? The same thing happened to us when we planted our new flowers. I just bought beautiful hydrangeas and they died from the amount of rain and the wind we had. Maybe you will get lucky and the storm will change direction!

Although the storms did not change direction, we seemed to have come through things okay - electricity stayed on, no trees fell that I heard, and only a few of my plants outside toppled over. I'm sorry you lost your hydrangeas - I hope you will be able to replace them.

Made, Jude asked me to put the race on (he has watched with my uncle before) He is so excited! He is naming all of the cars, haha!

wet and actually chilly here today. Just loaded up the bread machine for a loaf of sourdough bread, made the starter myself, something I have never tried before. It smells good so hopefully comes out ok.

How did your bread turn out? I bet it was yummy!

I always had a hard time saying goodbye to our pets. I love the idea of a garden. (((HUGS)))

Hello Christmas buddies!! I am sitting in my hotel room and it's partly cloudy and very windy from tropical storm Baryl! I am driving home in the morning right through the storm track! IT's not a hurricane or nothing so I should be okay....I had a great time this weekend with my old college brothers...boy we are getting old!! some of us are going bald getting a beer belly...but nonetheless it's great to see my old friends..I'ts kind of sad how friends drift apart...I think I have it figured out,it's not personal but in different phases of your life you have different sets of friends but the special ones you keep through all these phases,you may not talk every day like you use to but when you do talk it's like you have not missed a day..I have one friend like that and we have been friends since 9th grade we may even go 3 months without talking or a year without seeing one another...but we know each other like a book...one thing I have noticed is with my best friend we have changed our likes and dislikes but we are still friends...sorry about the ramble!!! anyway I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend! I will talk to yall when I get home tomorrow!!!

I have a friend like that, we can go for years without talking (live at opposite ends of the country) but when we get together again, it is like we were never apart.

The sun is shinning over here again today about 21c but rain is to come in on wednesday
Had a busy weekend. the shop on saturday was busy . went to a friends bbq for a while and went out on saturday night
Sunday i went to a car boot sale and done very good and can home and lit the bbq. all last week i have lived on bbq food i dont mind i love.
Will do the same this evening as well
Have 4 pallets this morning and am really NOT looking forward to that as it hard to work and built stuff in the sun ..

We had a rather warm and humid day yesterday with a spot of rain.
All and all, though, not too bad compared to what's coming soon.
(It can get pretty drippy around here in high Summer.)
Currentlly, we read a nice-to-start-the-day with 72 degrees here.
