Good morning, MMC! How are you all today? I am well. Just trying to get a lot done, in a short amount of time. Back to work tonight, just for Friday and Saturday, then I am off until next Monday night! We leave for Mytrle Beach Sunday night. I'm sooo excited.

Today plans: I've got to start packing. DH is already packed and has DS almost packed. He also has been working on packing other things, but I need to get myself packed and start packing EA. Ella will be staying with my in-laws, so I have to only pack her food, which is nice.

DH had a bad fire last night - there is a arsonist running around and has been setting the fires every 4 to 5 days. He only got 1 hour of sleep last night. I told him to go bed for a little bit, as he works again tonight. He said he's not tired, but I think he probably would be. I know I would be, since I work night shift every night. He only does it every couple of days and he if they don't have a call, they can sleep. Maybe that is why he isn't too tired. It will probably catch up with him tonight though. I just always get worried about the guys when they have fires like this. I pray everyone stays safe.

Well, off to pack. I am really getting caught up on the Countdown. I hope to be finished getting caught up sometime today or tomorrow! Thanks for putting up with my late posting! You guys are great! Have a great day and talk to you all soon! Keep smiles on your faces and God Bless! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Is it really June already? Wow. That means Hobby Lobby should be putting Christmas stuff out soon and QVC should be releasing their compete Christmas in July schedule in a couple of weeks. It's going to be a cloudy day here in central Indy with a high of 64 degree's. That's just about perfect for me. I feel pretty good today after getting 10 hours of sleep. Of course they mow the grass in my apartment complex on Friday's so I'll probably be coughing and sneezing by the end of the day. It's going to be a slow day here. I have a few errands to run and maybe I'll swing by hobby lobby since it's been a few weeks since I've been there. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I get to carry a really heavy sofa and loveseat up the stairs at my sister's house after she gets home tomorrow night. :-?

It's going to be a cloudy day here in central Indy with a high of 64 degree's. That's just about perfect for me. I feel pretty good today after getting 10 hours of sleep. Of course they mow the grass in my apartment complex on Friday's so I'll probably be coughing and sneezing by the end of the day. It's going to be a slow day here. Well, at least I got a chance to read through all the posts!
Nice to see you back again Laney.
Snow, did I hear someone say they had snow!!!

I have a carrot cake in the oven for a party tomorrow evening. It will be a celebration of survival for the young woman I look after. She was in a car accident 10 years ago that almost took her life. She has brain injury and is learning to walk again.

BBQ to go to this evening, but it is chilly, raining and very windy...but they said it was rain or shine. This is the place I volunteer at and this is their thank you to all the volunteers.

Tomorrow morning I am headed off to London for a small group network seminar. (comes with breakfast!) It is training for those of us who lead small Bible study groups.

The rest of the weekend will be just hanging around here, cleaning, laundry, you know, all the fun stuff!! LOL

Hello my Christmas friends! I haven't been around for probably a good 6 months and for that I apologize! For those that remember me, I've missed you all. To those that I don't know, hopefully I'll be around a bit more often and can get to know you.

I could try to catch up on the last 6 months, but I don't think there is any way to catch up on this many posts. Ya'll have been busy! I think I'll just jump right in and try to keep up from here on out.

The only major thing happening in my life is that I found out in December that I was pregnant and due this coming August. In March, we found out that our little baby is a girl! Well, 2 weeks ago, we found out that our little girl was going to be making an early entrance to this world! I went to my regular OB appt and after the regular checks, I was told I had pre-eclampsia and needed to go straight to the hospital. After 3 days of strict bed rest at the hospital and multiple blood pressure spikes that put me in danger of a stroke, they delivered our little girl, Charlotte Mae, by emergency c-section on May 18th at 28 weeks gestation. She weighed 1 lb 15oz at birth and was 14 inches. She is tiny, but she's a fighter!

Little Charlotte is doing great. She's in the NICU and will be for 2-3 months. But she was only intubated for 24 hours and then was taken down to just having a little bit of oxygen flowing through a nasal cannula. They are hoping to have her off of that in a week or so. Her only complication so far has been a heart murmur that they treated with medicine and it has already healed up. She really is doing great and her only focus at this point is to grow, grow, grow! At 2 weeks old/30 weeks gestation (tomorrow) she is up to weighing 2 lbs 2oz. We've got a long way to go still, but so far we are great!

Anyways, I look forward to getting back involved and seeing how each and everyone is doing. I have missed having the every day reminder of Christmas in my life - although my older DD keeps it very real and is clearly taking after her mama in her love for Christmas!

^Shellie- I saw the funniest t-shirt this morning with that piglett -it was advertising a barbeque restaurant.lool that is the funniest commercial too,I mean I was rolling the first time I saw...weeeeeee weeeee weeee!

Anyhow-I just got finished eating a fried balogna sandwich and before I get back to work and finish the last few hours this week..Today is the first day of Hurricane season for the East Coast!!! It has been years since we have been struck by a hurricane and in 2004 we got hit by 3 within a 4 week period in south Ga. I live about 100 miles inland but it was still pretty strong by the time it got to my town...I use to track them,but then we got into these last 4 years with virtually no activity...last week got my interest back up with tropical storm Baryl which came through my town...but it was the strangest storm with no wind except a breeze with mist...other places got 6 plus inches...I guess with these storms its just where you are at that determines how much you get...well it looks like we may get so more rain today so that is great!!! I hope everyone has a great friday afternoon,I better scoot out of here and get back to work!!!

good evening y'all! well went by my rents after work & neither of them were home so i just left them some magazines i had & came home, oh well.

let me just tell ya' this. i could really get used to my daughter being on restriction. she washed 2 loads of laundry (never-ever has), my son & her bathed 1 of the dogs, she cleaned the stainless sink (she's never-ever done that), i'm telling ya', i could get used to this. in between all that she worked out, caught some rays, & played ball w/ Maggie our chocolate lab. both of her brothers say she keeps fussing w/ them to do their chores. they say she sounds just like me, hahahaahahahaha!!! loving it.

oh this IS gonna be a great summer!!hehehehehe

I have been feeling the same way myself for the last two weeks. I have been thinking its the heat (too hot and too early, in the year) and the allergies as well (they're killing me).

My wife works in the hospital and also ER main labratory at a local hospital here and she has been coming home every day trlling me that they are just getting slammed with all the sick people coming into the ER every day. She told me today that she got (2) positive flu test results back today from people that came in sick... Yhere is also a real nasty head cold going around here locally as well...

I don't know why I've been so tired the last couple of weeks. Well I think the heat had something to do with it last week but not today. I even took a 2 hour nap this afternoon and I can still barely keep my eyes open. Oh well. I'm going to call it a night and head to bed super early. Of course I probably won't be able to sleep once I get there. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!

Hope you slept well, Made! Hopefully it's just the heat, but if the fatigue continues, you should think about getting it checked out. Something similar happened to me last year, and I ended up being anemic, and I just needed some iron supplements. Now all is back to normal, and I feel rested. Take good care of yourself.

Just the Goodwill Store around here, and they are loaded with Christmas stuff, they had Xmas shirts and sweaters on sale along with decorations.

That is so cool! I've never seen a Goodwill store w/ a specific Christmas section. Do you go there often to check it out?

Gooood Friday morning! TGIF! I get to leave for work a little later from now on because I switched going to work out to after work....it's so good to be able sleep a little longer in the Am's! IT's June now!!! one month closeer to the season...From here on out in the southeast it's going to be humid and downright hot until late Sept. Something funny happened yesterday and only in the south Ga would wierd weather like this happen. We got 2 inches of rain in a pop up thunderstorm...when earlier in the week we had to tropical storm go directly over the town I live in and we only got a quarter of an inch!! we so desperately needed those 2 inches and my lawn already looks much better! Well this weekend me and brandi have nothing planeed except a dinner party Brandi has planned with her fellow teacher friends and thier husbands...we have officially made the switch...the switch over to having couple-friends instead of mostly just single friends...it's kinda nice though brandi is much more domfortable throwing dinner parties and stuff like that..I get all nervous and self consious. I think we are having homemade tortalinni and bread! actual homemade bread! I could eat a whole loaf...(and I have). Well I better shove off....have a great day everyone!

Trampoline (a big one in the garden) and a aeroplane (BOEING 737 of course!)

And guess what?
June 1st and we wake up to SNOW!
That's never happend before!
It's all gone now. But SNOW in June?
And in the Kindergarten thay had made a tiny snowman!!!

I finally had a chance to cut the grass yesterday afternoon. I have so much bahiagrass in my yard, it's pathetic. I found some stuff that you can spray to kill bahia, and I plan to try it tomorrow.

I don't have to work at the store tomorrow, so I might fire up the grill and swim in the pool after spraying the yard. Wow. I don't often get free time like this!

TGIF!!!

It seems like everybody is having crazy weather lately.

We are under an excessive heat warning here today- high of 108! It's too soon for that- I'm already over it :wink:

I want Solice's snow!! That sounds perfect!

We really have no plans this weekend, just to relax. Maybe we'll have time to catch up on the last of the DVR'd Christmas movies cheesy

I went to Michael's on my lunch break yesterday, hoping to find any Fall or Christmas, but nothing just yet.. darn.

One cool place I need to visit is a newer consignment shop / antique shop / tea room in town. My in-laws checked it out & raved about it. They said they found lots of vintage Christmas! And it over 12,000 square feet...anyone want to go shopping?!?
