good morning y'all! woke up again this morning to rain. i hope it clears up early enough that i can get things done here as this is my last day off before the weekend.
daughter & son's pups went roaming late yesterday evening. they darted off as soon as daughter let them out. they do this too often. she kept calling them but....anyhoo, daughter's dog, Mickey, came back 1st. he smelled like a pole cat, pooo-weee. daughter took him straight to the shower. it's so funny, she puts him in the shower w/ her & he just stands there, so cute. i mean she does her hair, bathes him, then herself, & then she shaved her legs, & he just stands there. lol. son went looking for his dog, Diva, in the car, when he got back home she was on the front porch not making a sound. needless to say, she smelled 10x worse than Mickey, so son took her outside & bathed her. them little rascals get into everything. guess we will have to go back to letting them out 1 @ a time again. lol.

Good evening, Christmas family
There is not a lot going on right now. I am just settling down after work and then to sleep I hope. My Three canine furkids are around me all asleep and peacefully resting. It makes me feel comforted to have them here and to hear them sleeping. The two feline kids are up trying to see what they can muster up together to get into !!
I hope everyone is doing okay..

JohnOr - May God bless your Queen. I have the highest respect for her. My favorite period from your history was the Tudor dynasty, particularly Henry VIII and all his wives. I absolutely LOVE the music from that time period. Recorders and lutes have always sounded like Christmas to me !!

Still have allergies but they will continue until my next Kenalog shot which is not until July. But no matter. As long as I can keep the symptoms at bay until then it will be okay.
I am going to bid you goodnight. Special (((HUGS))) to Ella, Harlowe, Snickers, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Chico and all his siblings, Gomez and all his siblings, Snowball, Victor, Penny, Pocket, Scooby, Sasha, Baby Bear, and especially those furkids who are without homes or abused or both. My soul goes to them. I wish I could save them all xo

How are you today?
It is still very windy here, with 60 mph gusts, dust blowing everywhere. Blah.
On a positive note, it has brought in a huge cool down w/ it :grin:
The high yesterday was 108, today it's only 87! Love it!
It's funny, though, I always wear a short-sleeved shirt, but have a cardigan or hoodie w/ me because I freeze in the AC. When it's over 100 degrees outside, 70 degree AC is chilly! Especially when it's kicking in constantly!
I have recently taken on more responsibility at work, so it's been busy & never dull. Lots of trial & error. The person that used to do the things I've taken on was let go, so no one to show me the ropes. Keeps things interesting!!

I find it comforting to hear my fur kids breathing, too. Well, in Bo's case it is snoring - loud snoring! Got to love him - he takes his snoozing seriously. I swear he sleeps more than the cats do! And my employees too, they know there is nothing I ask them to do I won't do myself. It is called respect. I know they will stick by me and stick up for me if needed. I just love how bosses jump to conclusions without asking questions first.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
We had our June council meeting last night. Everytime I think it'll be a short meeting, it runs for 3 hours. I like to kid and joke about being mayor, but sometimes, even in a small town like Bellville, there are required duties which are not very enjoyable. We have a couple water customers that haven't paid their water bill in several months. We've tried to give them the benefit of doubt, and we've talked to them to no avail. We had to order their water cut off. I don't like doing that, but I know the people in question. It's not like they can't afford $20 a month for city water. They just don't make it a priority. They're about to, though. Paying the water bill to the city may not seem important, but when the city stops service, it will be. I hate it, but it's not fair to all the other citizens who pay the bill. Oh well.
Tomorrow is Nancy's birthday, so I'm going with them to Jacob's regularly scheduled guitar lesson this afternoon. While we're in Statesboro, Elizabeth and I will "sneak" away to get Nancy's present. Then we'll take her out to eat tomorrow night.

Shipped the kids off to school and daycare, I think I may tackle cleaning out there rooms, getting rid of stuff they don't use anymore while they are not here is so much easier. First though I am watching "The Muppets" it came on our Netflix, my kids hate the Muppets (what is wrong with them), and my wife didn't want to watch it. I love the Muppets so I will watch it.
Not much more going on here today.

20.00 dollars a month doesn't seem too bad; about average I would say around these parts. We seem to pay upon average anywhere's between 50-85.00 dollars every 3 months. Even though we are located in a suburb of Baltimore County, we are using Baltimore City Public water. Although, when my water pipe burst in the winter and it ran for 3 days un-noticed, I got a water bill several months later for 465.00 dollars; I about went thru the roof.....I pulled a Fred Sanford - Grabbed my chest, staggered backwards and said "It's the big one".......:lol:
