Christmas spotted today! Hubby and I went to Mt. Shasta last evening and spent the night at a motel where we had a view of the snow-covered mountain from three rooms/windows. Beautiful! Then we went to a restaurant this morning and the restaurant had Christmas greenery around the windows with white Christmas lights. I had a nice window view of a rock cottage that had Christmas lights around the outside and a small kitchen window with a Christmas wreath and a lighted candle in the middle. It was so, well, Christmasy!

That sounds so lovely and so christmessy.. bet you could have imagined it was christmas

Have I been unconscious for a few hours? I think I got hit on the head with an errant horseshoe. cheesy owww!
You ok now lol

Have 3 pallets this morning so my day is sorted.
Gonna go today if i get a chance and pay the deposit for the guy to built my grotto.. it looks like a wee cabin with a bay window . he says that i can use during the year as well. and then at christmas do it up with lights and snow and stuff..and from next jan i can store my christmas stuff in.
At christmas am gonna move it and put a wee fench round it and snow on the ground and a few polar bear and reindeer. bit like a north pole theme.
Any way better go and get another cuppa so talk to you all later. you all take care ..
Hugs to all furbabies

This sounds absolutely delightful!

And I STILL can't view the forums or log on at the office ... oh, the frustration! I HATE being out of touch during the day. But at least I can log on from home.

End of rant. Just needed an ear. I don't like being cut off from you all more than eight hours in the day!

I know...we miss so much when we cannot log on during the day!

Happy Friday Eve, Christmas friends!

Just getting ready for work - but wanted to stop in an wish you all a merry day!

Until I see you tonight...
Keep thinking Christmas!

Morning everyone!

Got up at 6am this morning to go and see the Olympic torch pass through our village, the rain didn't seem to stop the kids shouting !

Raining heavily now and i would say it could be here for a while :(

Nearly at the weekend, hope everyone has survived the week ok so far!

Good Morning, Dear Friends.

And thus over the crest we go and down the slope to yet another weekend.

But despite our downward speed, do not let this sight pass by unnoticed:
Days to the Season: 159
Days to Christmas Day: 201

The rain in Maine may fall plainly on the grain but it is plain as the nose on Carl's face that tomorrow marks yet another Milestone, the 200-day Christmas Day mark.
Then double-100's will be upon us as we accelerate toward Christmas Season 2012!

Cool and crisp here yesterday where we only topped out at 74 degrees, unusually cool for early June.
Should be warmer today.
We have 58 degrees here, currently.

You have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, Everybody!

I love this post!!! It sounds absolutely beautiful, Seawaters, and very Christmasy - thank you for sharing that with us!!!

I desperately miss not being able to log on when I'm at work. On Friday I got kicked off and locked out of MMC while trying to submit a 1910 story to the Christmas Library ... still can't figure out why. Now I can't even VIEW any page on this domain when I'm at the office!

When I found out I was still locked out Monday morning, I tried the trick of forcing a new IP address by turning off the Ethernet and AirPort and then reconnecting to them, but when I tried to reconnect the computer hung up. I forced a restart, then found I'd locked myself out of the office network---I couldn't log on because the computer was disconnected, and I couldn't reconnect without logging on. The office manager had to call one of our IT guys to come out and get me back on the office network. Embarrassing. And I STILL can't view the forums or log on at the office ... oh, the frustration! I HATE being out of touch during the day. But at least I can log on from home.

We miss you, too, Merry! I hope you will be able to log back on here from work!

Friends, I'm on my way!! And I've got Christmas cookies to make up for all of Meceka's brownies Carl & I ate earlier!

Good morning, MMC!

I am getting ready to head out to a bunch of garage sales - I am hoping to find vintage glassware for the store - within my price range, of course. That is the tricky part. I can find the stuff, but most of the time I can't afford to buy. The hunt can be fun, though!

Have a MERRY day!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! We are warming back up here in central Indy with a high of 81 today and it looks like 90 on Saturday. Ugh!! I have to go babysit here in a few minutes. My sister missed a step on the stairs last night and screwed up her ankle. So she is going to her doctor and then probably for x rays. Hopefully it's nothing major or I'll have to be out there a lot more in the coming weeks. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

if it is like it was here all the school kids got out to watch it pass in their town, very exciting.

garage sales here are only on Saturdays...occasionally on Fridays and Sunday mornings, but usually just Saturdays.
Hope you find some nice Christmas stuff!

Would you believe I know this guy? I don't know his real name, but he's called "Freight Train" by everyone around here. He lives not far from here, and is is a silly guy who always gets in parades and acts crazy, or dances in front of a bunch of folks. LOL Where did you find this picture??
