Christmas Countdown - 2012

Christmas spotted today! Hubby and I went to Mt. Shasta last evening and spent the night at a motel where we had a view of the snow-covered mountain from three rooms/windows. Beautiful! Then we went to a restaurant this morning and the restaurant had Christmas greenery around the windows with white Christmas lights. I had a nice window view of a rock cottage that had Christmas lights around the outside and a small kitchen window with a Christmas wreath and a lighted candle in the middle. It was so, well, Christmasy!
Almost to the 200 day mark!!! THings are so hectic right now and we just found out this weekend we will be going to Daytona Beach Fl,to help a friend of mine move...that is about a 3 to 4 hour drive,but I know how much of a pain movin can be,so I know my help willl be apprecaited. I hope everyone is doing good,it's just a month away from Christmas In july...I think things will be slowing down for us around that time too,brandi is very busy with summer school but that will end in 3 weeks...have a good night everyone!

I desperately miss not being able to log on when I'm at work. On Friday I got kicked off and locked out of MMC while trying to submit a 1910 story to the Christmas Library ... still can't figure out why. Now I can't even VIEW any page on this domain when I'm at the office!
When I found out I was still locked out Monday morning, I tried the trick of forcing a new IP address by turning off the Ethernet and AirPort and then reconnecting to them, but when I tried to reconnect the computer hung up. I forced a restart, then found I'd locked myself out of the office network---I couldn't log on because the computer was disconnected, and I couldn't reconnect without logging on. The office manager had to call one of our IT guys to come out and get me back on the office network. Embarrassing. And I STILL can't view the forums or log on at the office ... oh, the frustration! I HATE being out of touch during the day. But at least I can log on from home.
End of rant. Just needed an ear. I don't like being cut off from you all more than eight hours in the day!

Can you get on through a proxy server? It might not be the best way to view the site but it's better than nothing.

I don't know how to do that ... is it something I might be able to do at the office without causing more trouble? Do you think there's a chance that I'll eventually be unblocked? It's frustrating because I didn't (knowingly) do anything wrong ...

You should be able to get on through a proxy without causing any problems at work. Here is a link to the one I use-

Just go down to where it shows myspace and type in the address for here. Did you send an email to Jeff with your work's IP address? Him going in and manually unblocking you is probably the only way you'll be able to get back on soon. I think the list clears itself out after a while but it takes a couple of months.

A busy day here, just getting here this late, had to watch the hockey game the Stanley Cup was in the building may have to wait until the end of game 5 to see it though. I'm up way to late again.
