Hi Everyone...

Hope you are all keeping well and not suffering the mid year blues in the same way that I am - although listenting to episode 18 of the Merry Podcast and watching various Christmas TV specials over the weekend has helped!

This is the best place to be for Christmas Cheer! My imagination goes into high gear around this time...just thinking about Christmas - and picturing Christmas decorations in my mind!

I keep telling myself, (and everyone else) that I need to start cutting back, but every year, I'll will either be in a store, or walking along somewhere or watching TV and something will catch my Christmas Eye and I'll say "I just have to have that or that will look cool in my yard...." 8-)
Hahaha...me too! Every year I tell my husband, "Remind me next Christmas that I don't need to buy more decorations because I don't have enough room for the ones we have!" Then, sure enough...I buy more!

Oh...and I love the term "Christmas Eye"! I think we all have that here at MMC!

Hope all of you wonderful people have a lovely day!!

I hope you had a lovely day today too, Snowflake!

Well - today I started listening to Glee Christmas on my mp3 player. What a fun CD! I remember the first time I heard Oh Holy Night on this particular CD...that it brought tears to my eyes. Simply beautiful!

I was just thinking to myself today that in less than 4.5 months, The Bay will have Christmas Street out! Oh...you can imagine that I spend plenty lunch breaks walking along Christmas Street. Last year one of the TV stations was doing a segment on how The Bay opened Christmas Street mid-October...and they had a couple of shots of me walking around and looking at the Christmas decorations (unbeknownst to me - until I saw the segment)! Everyone who knows me...they know how much I love Christmas...and they thought it was quite fitting cheesy

Have a Christmassy evening all!

Hahaha...you know me, Made! Remember I kept taking pictures of the BIG Christmas red curtains? Oh...as soon as I see those curtains up...I just know they are working on Christmas Street! And then...the unveiling! Ahhhh...such a happy place!

I remember the curtains and I remember they had some really cool Santa's!!!

Happy Pines Day to you, Meceka!! The peanut butter brownies are to die for!! Hope you have a great day, see you later tonight

I had a lovely day, thank you! I hope you did, too!!

Thanks. Mom is doing ok, just trying to deal with pain without staying "doped up" all the time. She has been taking care of my dad. He just got out of the hospital after a 3 day stay with pneumonia.

I will keep both of your parents in my prayers, mgramsey!

Good evening, MMC!

I am so tired this evening. I took a walk after lunch and being out in the sun and the breeze and lack of sleep last night have really done a number on me. It was a very good day, though! I hung out with my cousin - it is her last day available until the kids are home from school for the summer so we made the most of it. Went to the mission store (books!) and the library (more books!) and ate at the Chinese buffet for brunch. We even had ice cream at Tim Horton's - the mint was good!

I'm going to listen to a bit of Karaoke and then head home and sleep.

Have a MERRY evening!!!

:merry:
