That's what I was going to suggest!!!!cheesy
try calling her next time you want to talk!
Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
We had our June council meeting last night. Everytime I think it'll be a short meeting, it runs for 3 hours. I like to kid and joke about being mayor, but sometimes, even in a small town like Bellville, there are required duties which are not very enjoyable. We have a couple water customers that haven't paid their water bill in several months. We've tried to give them the benefit of doubt, and we've talked to them to no avail. We had to order their water cut off. I don't like doing that, but I know the people in question. It's not like they can't afford $20 a month for city water. They just don't make it a priority. They're about to, though. Paying the water bill to the city may not seem important, but when the city stops service, it will be. I hate it, but it's not fair to all the other citizens who pay the bill. Oh well.
Tomorrow is Nancy's birthday, so I'm going with them to Jacob's regularly scheduled guitar lesson this afternoon. While we're in Statesboro, Elizabeth and I will "sneak" away to get Nancy's present. Then we'll take her out to eat tomorrow night.
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
hows this....

We love having you here!!!!! So you better stick around for awhile!!!
Good Morning, MMC!!
How are you today?
It is still very windy here, with 60 mph gusts, dust blowing everywhere. Blah.
On a positive note, it has brought in a huge cool down w/ it
The high yesterday was 108, today it's only 87! Love it!
It's funny, though, I always wear a short-sleeved shirt, but have a cardigan or hoodie w/ me because I freeze in the AC. When it's over 100 degrees outside, 70 degree AC is chilly! Especially when it's kicking in constantly!
I have recently taken on more responsibility at work, so it's been busy & never dull. Lots of trial & error. The person that used to do the things I've taken on was let go, so no one to show me the ropes. Keeps things interesting!!
What's new with you, friends?
Harlowe & I are sending hugs to you all!!
Hope you all have a very happy Tuesday!!! Make it Christmassy!
Another quick update on Snow in Texas. Everything is still looking good this morning and he should be headed home anytime now.

:lol:20.00 dollars a month doesn't seem too bad; about average I would say around these parts. We seem to pay upon average anywhere's between 50-85.00 dollars every 3 months. Even though we are located in a suburb of Baltimore County, we are using Baltimore City Public water. Although, when my water pipe burst in the winter and it ran for 3 days un-noticed, I got a water bill several months later for 465.00 dollars; I about went thru the roof.....I pulled a Fred Sanford - Grabbed my chest, staggered backwards and said "It's the big one".......
Good afternoon, MMC!
The beautiful, sunshine-filled day is no more - now it is grey and cloudy out. I'm glad I got my errands done while the sun was still out - so nice to be out and about then! Stopped off at the local mission store and I found 2 Christmas books: Mrs. Miracle and A Christmas Wedding. I'm looking forward to reading them.
Work beckons, so I will wish all of you a MERRY day!!
Good afternoon everyone! It's a pleasant day today, can't wait to get off work so I can go for a walk. Only two hours to go.
LOL, that was my first thought too!!

Hey everybody! The weather here was really crappy today - raining and cold, but it's clearing up now and should be nice the rest of the week.
We took the kids to Ripley's and EA and I bowled, while DH and DS watched. We went swimming in one of the inside pools after. We're now heading out to get something to eat, now that the kids have napped.
I will try to log back on later to catch up a little. Hope everyone is enjoying their evening!
I have a doctor appointment mid-afternoon to get the lump on the back of my neck checked out. Hopefully it is nothing because I don't want to start the month off having to go to all kinds of appointments!
I'll keep you, your DH, and your towns people in my thoughts & prayers, sugar. Stay safe, friend.
And have a wonderful time on your trip!! Can't wait to hear about it!
Oh...I just LOVE being here. I sure wish there was a HUG smilie!
So...my daughter-in-law is selling Avon now...and in every book there is something Christmas-related to buy! Oh ya...you better believe I buy
Last night I sorted through my Christmas bin. To explain...I have these ginormous plastic bins that I keep close all year long so that when I buy something Christmas-related or Christmas presents, I put it in these bins. That's the organizational nut coming out in me. Hehehe.
^^^ I love that, ChristmasHeart! ^^^
Our bedroom walk-in closet is mostly my Christmas village, shelves, floor, you name it. We have bins in the garage for decorations, but I hate having them out there. They get so dusty & whatnot, plus I can't easily reach them all. Next house we buy, I'm going to make sure to have indoor space for my Christmas stuff =) Maybe a whole room!!
HA! Sometimes I'll go through it...just because I know its my Christmas bins, and...well...I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
I hope everyone had a super day - and an even better night! Sweet dreams (of Christmas)!!!
try calling her next time you want to talk!

Hey everyone!
Just got back from my bike ride and had supper...now I'm sitting and watching the game fighting sleep. That's one things about exercising...it sure helps you sleep.
Sounds like a nice evening!!
Yes, exercise really does wear you out =] My husband, Adrian, had such a tough time falling asleep, tried everything OTC to help, teas, you name it. Nothing consistently worked. But he switched his mountain biking to the evenings, plus we usually take a walk too, and ever since he's never had any trouble.
Tomorrow....Pines....enough said.
I keep looking at the countdown. We are almost to 150 until the season...do you realize how quick this is about to go....I can't wait for the Ber months....
 Can't wait!!
Saw where Snowflake said Elf was on Thursday night.....I'm in!
Well, about to head out and read the rest of the board, but before I do I want SIT to know that I'm thinking about you....get well soon, friend.
hope things get better @ work for you. it's always better when someone's there to teach you 1st but....you can do it snowflake!!!
Thanks for the encouragement, merry!! I had one of those moments yesterday of "What did I get myself into?!"...lol
Hi Everyone...
Hope you are all keeping well and not suffering the mid year blues in the same way that I am - although listenting to episode 18 of the Merry Podcast and watching various Christmas TV specials over the weekend has helped!
Just back at work after an extra long weekend off for the Queens Diamond Jubilee eclebrations - the celebrations were great and something that I think we will all remember here in the UK for a very long time...
Weather wise we have heavy rain with thunder & lightning storms as I speak here in on the NE coast - spectacular!
Please forgive me for not posting as regularly as I'd like - but believe me I check in on a regular basis to see how everyone id doing - I promise I will try to check in and actually post more often!
Happy Pines Day!!!!
I hope you enjoy the peanut butter brownies I dropped off earlier. I'll be back later tonight. Be good!!!!!
