Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another warm but decent day here in central Indy with a high of 76 this afternoon. I think I'm going to spend most of the day cleaning before I head off to the pines later today. I also need to do some weeding in my garden. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went to the nearby town yesterday afternoon for Jacob's guitar lesson, and both kids had a dentist appointment. My daughter and I snuck away to the mall to buy Nancy's birthday gift, then we hit Walmart (ugh), and headed home for dinner at Bernie & Hilda's.

One nice thing about the trip; in the mall, we stopped in Hallmark and they have the new Dreambook! I've been pouring over it ever since. :grin:

Tonight we're taking Nancy out to eat, so it should be another fun evening.

Our bedroom walk-in closet is mostly my Christmas village, shelves, floor, you name it. We have bins in the garage for decorations, but I hate having them out there. I know what you mean about space...I have completley finished off our attic with a raised floor with electrical outlets (so I can put a santa that lights up in the attic window ; that waves to you or a witch during halloween that lights up and is flying on her broom) and lights and even with that, I have it more that half full with Christmas and Halloween decorations. Last year I moved the other half down to the garage and now that is about a third full with all the blowmolds and large yard decorations, etc... that were getting to be too much to lug back and forth from the attic every year.

I keep telling myself, (and everyone else) that I need to start cutting back, but every year, I'll will either be in a store, or walking along somewhere or watching TV and something will catch my Christmas Eye and I'll say "I just have to have that or that will look cool in my yard...."

I know, I think that Christmas Eye is contagious!!

Thanks. Mom is doing ok, just trying to deal with pain without staying "doped up" all the time. She has been taking care of my dad. He just got out of the hospital after a 3 day stay with pneumonia.

It's another beautiful day here today- sunny, with a high of only 89! We better enjoy this weather while we can, it's going to be back @ 100 degrees by Friday.

Hi Everyone...

Hope you are all keeping well and not suffering the mid year blues in the same way that I am - although listenting to episode 18 of the Merry Podcast and watching various Christmas TV specials over the weekend has helped!

Just back at work after an extra long weekend off for the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations - the celebrations were great and something that I think we will all remember here in the UK for a very long time...

Weather wise we have heavy rain with thunder & lightning storms as I speak here in on the NE coast - spectacular!

Please forgive me for not posting as regularly as I'd like - but believe me I check in on a regular basis to see how everyone is doing - I promise I will try to check in and actually post more often!

good afternoont (as Madea would say)!

got off work @ 1pm today then had to go shopping. hubby needed some more flipflops & so did i. then to walmart for....EVERYTHING! why is it that we don't realize how much we need or what we are out of until we go to walmart?i really dislike that store but when ya' need alot of stuff, ya' gotta go where you can get it cheapest, huh? anyhoo, that's done now, whew!

hubby's taking a quick nap & i just thought i'd check in w/ y'all. daughter's b-day is tuesday, the 12th, & mama took her shopping today to find something for her b-day since we won't be here that day. daughter gotta pretty sundress. get this, she loves her cowboy boots right? so she says to me, "yeah ma, my boots look good w/ it too!" it is a very pretty dress. she had a little cash herself & gotta pair of sandals....their soo cute. i just love shoes, i think she does too.

off to the pines, can't wait to hear made singing karaoke!
