when the tourch was in Canada (2010) it went right past our house so it was easy to watch! so much excitment here that year and our contry did amazing!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
Nancy's mom helped Elizabeth bake a cake for Nancy's birthday yesterday. I love pound cake, especially when it's hot out of the oven! We had just a small, us-only dinner for Nancy last night. Next week is my mom's birthday, and so is our Vacation Bible School. We're planning to celebrate both of their birthdays after that.
Then we're going back to my wonderful mountains for the fourth of July!

Good morning, Christmas family !
Haven't been here a lot, just too tired by the time I get done working and some days not enough time to get on before.
Not much going on here. It is going to be warm today. Right now it is Sunny and beautiful. Even though I have my husband's iPod (It's minher e now but I still remember it was originally his) I am thinking of sending my original one away to a place called The Pod Drop. They seem to get pretty good reviews and they say they can fix iPods usually no matter what. Curious thing about my old one, you know, the one that took a bath is that there is no audio but my computer still recognizes it when I plug in with my USB patch. I am guessing maybe just the screen is bad. I need to find out more about The Pod Drop before I go sending mine off though.
Furkids are doing well. Hermione is going on 7 months now and we have her scheduled to be spayed at the end of this month.
I am beginning to look around again at different companies because working 12-9 Monday through Friday just leaves me no time for anything. I dont know though, after that last episode I keep being scared of what would happen if I get another company that I dont fit with. I for sure could never go back again to my old one and then I would be in a fix. So I guess I am on the fence.
If there is another job that will work I will be guided to it. At least that's how I think. My mother always said what is to be WILL be.

It's not for sale, but your post made me think of it---I have a doll's punchbowl and six matching punch cups that my mom left me. They're just pressed glass and from the late 1930s - early 1940s. Not valuable, but so cute---the little cups only hold a few drops, but they are patterned to match the punchbowl! It would look so cute in a miniature table with miniature Christmas cookies.

I was just thinking that I haven't posted an update on her in a couple of weeks.
She just had her 3rd infusion of the new medicine and it has helped a little bit but not much. The doctor told her that it could take 6 months before it really kicks in. The good news is that it doesn't seem to be causing any kind of reaction like all of the other one's did.

Love this i love all the coke stuff for christmas, i have the cups and sideplate from coke and the tea/sugar/coffee set . all with the old time photos on them

On my lunch break, I'm need to go shopping for my [Dad's] Father's Day gift. Less than a week and a half away! Ahh, I feel behind there too :wink: Hope I find something good for him. He's such a wonderful Dad!
