Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be hot here today with a high of 90 this afternoon. That means I'll be staying inside and that's okay because I'll still haven't finished reorganizing my kitchen. Then it will be time to kick back and watch the Belmont stakes. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Bernie's store is wide open for business this morning. I'm cooking breakfast as we speak, and the coffee is ready. We have some new fresh produce available, from field peas to blackberries, tomatoes, squash, sweet onions, new potatos...that's the only good thing about summer to me!

Gotta get back to it. BBL!

A merry Saturday morning to all of you!

I was trying to catch up here this morning - but would need more time to do it! For now...I must start getting ready for golf! It may be raining a little - but we will still play. As long as its not a hard rain - its a-okay.

I'm thinking a Christmas movie is in order for later today. I've seen Christmas friends here talking about Elf being on TV...so I'm thinking I might just pop in the DVD! Its one of my absolute FAVES!

Mine, too!! I love ELF! My husband & I watch it every year @ Christmas together, and of course I'll watch it every so often because it makes me happy!!

I bet you are all happy about the weekend being here! I hope it is fun and special for everyone!

Good Morning, Christmas friends!!

Just enjoying a quiet Saturday morning. We had some coffee outside on the patio, watched the birds, and enjoyed some outdoor time while we could. Now, it's getting too hot!! So, back inside we came.

What are you up to?

Adrian plans to go for a quick bike ride, and I'm going to finish a movie I started watching on Netflix...like a month ago. Ha!

We're grilling steaks later this evening, Adrian is trying a new marinade w/ garlic, red peppers, and soy. And I'll make some mashed potatoes & corn on the cob. Should be really good.

Ballcoach & Made, we had a baby hummingbird in a tree outside our bedroom window for a couple of weeks every morning & evening. Not sure where the nest was, but he/she would cry or chirp constantly for their mom. Of course, she would come & feed him/her. It was so cool to see so closely!!

Made, thanks for the HSN info. I'll have to check it out this year!

CM3, I'm so excited for the Hallmark CIJ open house! I'll have to get out my wishlist and come up w/ a plan of attack =)

Preventive maintenance on the car = $OUCH. Brakes will need to be done after another couple thousand miles. Oh, well ... it's safe to run and has a lot of more miles in it.

I think I have a sinus infection.....I won't go into details but you all know what the symptoms are. My neck on one side is a little puffy and hurts so I guess it is warm compresses for me.

Owww, My back!!!!! I just got home from carrying my sister's old sofa and loveseat up the stairs to her game room. Now I think I need a chiropractor but there is no rest for the weary because both of my niece's had to come home with me.

Hope that back of your's is feeling better. You really do need to take some time for yourself every once in a while!

Good evening,

I am ready for bed now, back to work tomorrow and I have so much on my plate. At least I have Tuesday off. We are getting our first Sonic Drive-In in Western Mass this week, all those commercials have been teasing us up here for years, and we finally get one. I am excited to try it, but it's fast food so I am sure I will be disappointed. I know I was disappointed the first time I tried Jack In the Box, but Chick-Fil-A was quite good, I never had a chicken biscuit sandwich for breakfast before that. We don't have either of those restaurants up here, it's a treat when we visit my sister in South Carolina.

Back from the stacking competition in Markham, Ontario!
I am so proud of my son..

3rd for the cycle stack
5th for the 3-3 stack
6th for the 3-6-3 stack

Not bad considering he has only been doing this for a few months and this was the first competition he was ever in.
