Christmas Countdown - 2012

Wayne and I ran around all day long yesterday. We really enjoy our time together even if it's doing chores together or errands. =)

We did stop by Hobby Lobby and the first thing I saw was some pumpkins! I got all excited and Wayne got a chuckle out of that. We saw 2 aisles of fall decorations and about 8 aisle of Christmas goodies. They were not completely full but enough to get my Christmas fix! I was so giddy and we went down those aisle twice. I am glad he enjoys looking at this stuff with me!!!

I hope that all of our MMC dads have a great Father's Day tomorrow!

I have been feeling under the weather all day long. My stomach was bothering me and now I am exhausted. I took some Tylenol an hour ago because I felt drained and I had a headache but my temperature is currently 99.3. Hopefully I am not coming down with something.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here today in central Indy. All of the rain yesterday stayed north of us but at least there is another chance again today. We really need it. I ended up having to go out to dinner twice last night. My sister's FIL always takes us out for our birthday but he was sick this year. So he called yesterday and wanted to take all of us out last night. So I went to O'Charley's with the family and then turned around and went to Outback for my friends birthday. I was stuffed when I got home. Today I plan on kicking back and enjoying the nascar race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back from church. Worked in the nursery during second service, got my baby fix!
Woke to a thunderstorm this morning. Now it is hot and muggy.
At least I have no place I have to go today.

I think I will kick back and relax, watch TV and hang out here, maybe read for awhile.

I spent the entire day, working at my grandfathers. I had ordered a 30 yard roll-off dumpster and it was delivered this morning because I had a couple of out buildings to tear down. They were old and were starting to collapse and since I will most likely sell the property in the future, I figured I would just go-ahead and tear them down now. So, I enlisted the help of my little brother (6'-2"/ 280lbs, lol) and my son and two of his friends. We got started at 9:00 this morning and did not finish the job untill 7:30 this evening. We basicly didn't stop all day, it was hot working in the sun all day as well.

Funny thing, when I got home, I walked over to my wife to give her a little peck on the cheek and she immedately gave me the strong arm and said, "not till you have bathed stinky boy"!

Needless to say, I spent the next hour soaking in the tub, boy was I sore, sun burned and dirty!!! I got done, took an hour nap and then got up and ate a bowl of vanilla Ice Cream (with Christmas jimmys) and "voila", here I am, back in the saddle again.....

Wow, that's a lot of work!! I'm sure you are still wiped out from it, but I bet it also feels like a big accomplishment! Kudos to you.

Sounds like you had a very nice day! When I was Father's Day shopping I saw a couple of the Halloween movies but decided not to get them. After reading your post I wish I had!!

I sure did! I just love scary movies, but especially love watching them during the Fall... Or when I want it to be Fall! ;-)

well, that evening went totally different than planed!

Got called to pick up my son from work because he was feeling dizzy and had ringing in his ears. After being in emergency 3 hours found out that his hemoglobin levels were dangerously low (normal is 14 his was 4) He has had this before because of his hiatus hernia. So he is on iron tablets again. Will have to take him to our doctor again next week. I think we will have to investigate to make sure his hernia is not bleeding again.

I am tired, but want to watch Nik Wallenda walk the tight rope across Niagara Falls

Wow. Hope he is okay. I can't believe they didn't tranfuse him with some blood, too. Hope all goes well for him and he is feeling better.
