Afternoon MMC,

Another hectic weekend of family visits mixed with a work deadline. For the first time ever, I think I'm actually glad it is Monday !!!

Now the countdown is on to my brothers wedding next weekend in London!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and if you didn't there is always next weekend!

Spirit

sounds wonderful! Had to look up where that was and noticed that the island looks like a whale with crocked tail.
You are absolutely correct in your assessment of the shape of Grand Cayman!
I hope you can visit one day...really a neat place without beach vendors or anyone bothering you. Not far from USA, English spoken and a little bit of heaven when you see the crystal teal water of the Caribbean!

Going to be a hot and muggy week here.

I have a cake and 75 cupcakes to make for Thursday, never fun when it is so hot.(icing not co-operative)

I admire the hard work you do to make other people have such a special occasion!

I had a great Fathers' Day weekend. Saturday, my son and I went to Atlanta to see the Braves play the Orioles. Sunday, after church, all of us drove to Pigeon Forge for a late lunch and visited The Incredible Christmas Place. While driving, we listened to the Braves/Orioles then the Dodgers/White Sox games on satellite radio and my wife never complained...

After several days of mild weather, I'm afraid summer is back. The forecast is for us to have highs in the mid 80s by the end of this week. One we take our family vacation in early July, I will be ready for fall.

Hey everybody!!

Just thought I'd share Bruce's last 2 FB posts which is summing up his summer at Disneyland Paris

The first was this one a couple of days ago:

Yesterday I saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Aladdin sitting outside the break room, cigarette in hand, discussing the Eurozone crisis and the state of the Greek economy.

The magic has officially gone

The second was about 20 minutes ago:
Today I spoke to a little girl waiting in the queue for Dumbo. She was dressed up like Pluto; complete with ears and yellow face paint. She said she'd been waiting for a year to see Pluto and give him a hug.

The magic is back. In force.

I'm so......."Awwwwww"....... right now!!!!!!!!

:D

Just returned from family vacation on Grand Cayman Island...first time on a tropical island for me, very pretty and very serene.
Noticed that Hallmark Channel has announced the weekend of July 14th and 15th as all Christmas movies for those of you who enjoy a bit of a corny, but Christmasy TV movie fest as I do!

Grand Cayman is the best!! I love it there. I hope you had fun!

Monday is a great day! Start of a another good week!!!

My granddaughter (almost 3 years old) just got here. She is so cheerful every morning when her dad drops her off. Very talkative and so sweet. She gives Wayne and I a chuckle with some of the things she says.

My chihuahua, Meca, who is 11 years old, just loves my granddaughter. She usually don't care for kids too much but just adores her! My granddaughter calls my dog her BFF! Ha ha! She even came in our house one time with a BFF t-shirt and said, "Meca needs one of these shirts too so we can match". Meca always comes and sits with her every morning.

My grandsons are in Day Summer Camp and I pick them up in the afternoon after they get out.

That is such a sweet story!! Love it!

What a perfect way to spend Father's Day!!

That is something that you posted because I was just wondering how you been!

Wayne and I are seriously considering a cruise to the Grand Cayman after Christmas. We will see how things go. I am glad you enjoyed yourself!

I am excited about Hallmark Christmas movies. I don't mind corny Christmas movies, they are fun to watch! :D

I bet that was a sight to see!!! Never thought I would hear of Disney characters taking life so seriously!

Hi MMC :)

Anyone else having site troubles today?

I was having some troubles with it running slow, but it seems to be running fine now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I had trouble getting on here all day today, its fine now though.

Ive been having trouble for weeks getting on the site... give it some Coffee!!

YABABBABABABAB

Seems like a lot of us are having problems. I was having trouble yesterday and the day before, but I thought it was just me.

Hey, sugar. It was really slow earlier, and when I would sign in it would take me to an older page that said something like "Having Trouble Accessing MMC At Christmas-Time? Become A Platinum Member..."
I couldn't get away from that page, anything on MMC I'd click on, it would revert me back to that page. When I finally was able to get on the countdown, it would allow me to read a page, but then when I'd click to the next page, it's take me back to the older page. I eventually was able to comment on the countdown, but after I wrote a pretty long post, it dissappeared, took me back to that same old page =[

Hope all is fixed, now :rudolph:

This is exactly what it did to me. It was being weird the other day a little but yesterday it did that all day. I wanted to get on and ask if anyone else was experiencing this but I couldn't!

Seems to be fine today though.

I sure did! I just love scary movies, but especially love watching them during the Fall... Or when I want it to be Fall! ;-)

Me too! I love Christmas movies, but I think scary/Halloween ones have to be my favorite!

I hardly get chance to come on here anymore since I got my new job as it's keeping me busy during the day when I can normally get online. Hope everyone is well. Can't believe we are half way through June already, I thought last year went quick this 1 is flying by

Hope you are doing well too! And this year is definitely flying by!

Good evening,

Had a great Father's day, went to the movies and saw Madagascar 3, went to our favorite ice cream place, took an unexpected nap. It was a great day with the family.
I received my Lakeside Collection catalog for Harvest yesterday, Christmas can't be too far behind.

Happy Father's Day!!!

Have a great night!

Sounds like a great day!

Good Sunday evening, my Christmas friends!

I had a great Father's Day! We grilled yesterday evening on the deck. It actually got so cool outside, my mom and my wife went inside! I loved it, though. Today, we took Bernie out to eat. He wanted to go to Red Lobster, so we went to Savannah. Then he wanted to go to Sam's Club to get some things for the store.

The kids (and Nancy) gave me a fan for the deck that has water misters attached. It's to use at the deck during the summer when it's so hot. It really hasn't been hot enough for that yet, though. It's unusual, but it's in the mid-70's right now, and it might get into the 60's later tonight...unheard of!

I'll see you all in the morning. Take care! cheesy

Sounds like you have a wonderful Father's Day as well! Glad to hear it!

Happy Monday!
Tomorrow is the last day of school here
And then it's 2 months SUMMER BREAK!! =]

Have a GREAT day!!!!

Woohoo! I just love summer break!

Ho ho ho Merry Monday!

I found some nice fall scented Yankee Candles! Leafs, Pumpkin, and Berry Fall spice! Woo hoo! Oh and I want to thank Jeff for all his hard work on trying to get the MMC cookbook to me. Its getting stuck at customs. Doesn't customs like Christmas? Maybe its the Grinch working under cover? Or heat miser? haha. Speaking of heat its going to be HOT for the next few days. Where is fall when you need it? Ill post some pictures of the candles I found tonight when I get home from work. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a merry Monday everyone!

I love Yankee Candles but they are just too darn expensive for me!

Thanks for the heads up, momnan! :sparkle:

Well I hope everybody enjoyed their fathers day as much as I did. My three little ones gave me some homemade crafts that I can sport on my bookshelf with pride. I then got to grill my whole family steak and corn on the cob for supper. Followed by an evening of watching the US Open, NBA finals and Red Sox/Cubs. Yes my finger is tired from working the clicker.

I told my wife that Fathers day needs to come more than once a year. I can get used to a day like this quickly.

My husband is a huge scary movie fan, too, and he teases me about being a fan of Christmas movies AND scary movies- that they couldn't be on more opposite ends of the spectrum!

So, what are some of your favorite scary movies?

Sorry you were having troubles, too...But I have to admit I'm glad it wasn't just me having that same issue. I thought I was losing it cheesy

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

It was a really hectic morning, but things seem to have calmed down since I got back from lunch. I try to avoid city business as much as possible during the work day, but sometimes it invades. This morning I had 3 guys in my office and got two city-related phone calls in a 15 minute interval, the last one from the city attorney that required some time and attention. Then my mom called. The guys in my office never took the hint; they just stood there waiting...LOL!

I could get some things done if it weren't for all this pesky work my job wants me to do!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I hope I can visit one day too! Went to Hawaii in the late 70's and that was amazing, but even back then was a big tourist place.
