Good Morning, Fellow Christmasofiles.

And thus we begin the 2nd half of our journey back to Christmas.

Days to the Season: 140
Days to Christmas Day: 182
With that incredible Milestone passed yesterday, do you dare check on the proximity of the next one?
You do?
Well, OK then. You asked for it.
It's the TWO-THIRDS mark to the Season and it looms ahead on July 14.
That's just 18 days away!
Gee, whiz!

Well, we should be able to breathe easier today with lower humidity and temperatures.
(Hey! Think I'll get the lawn mowed!)
We have 66 degrees here at the moment.

You all have a Terrific Tuesday, Y'hear?

Good afternoon!

Oh, guys you should have seen my kids this morning.
I came down with our 'little' Christmas Three (120 cm)
sat it up and turned the lights on.

You should see these faces!
They were suprised and glad and asked- "Is it Christmas?"
In Norwegian the word for Christmas is Jul
So I said, now. But it soon July. LOL

Well, I just needed the lights on the tree.
(for a photoshoot)

But it was so fun to have the Christmas tree all lighted up in our
livingroom this morning in June! What a joy!

:sparkle:

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high of 81 degree's. Of course that's that they said yesterday and we reached 86. I have a busy day ahead of me but all I really want to do is crawl back in bed. It was so nice and comfy this morning that I really didn't want to get out of it. Well I better get going so I can get home at a reasonable time. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had two Christmas moments over the last 24 hours! I saw on the news that Nutcracker tix went on sale in the city (Philadelphia) and I just got an email from Gooseberry Patch asking for CHristmas recipes and memories!

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is a gorgeous, cool day here in Mid-Michigan - I love it! Perfect day for baking, so I made sour cream and garlic chive muffins, corn meal and tomato muffins, and a beef bacon and morel mushroom pizza on 8-grain crust - yummy! I am stock-piling the freezer with baked goods as a heat wave is coming and I will not be using the oven whatsoever until it is done with! Now to make some Christmas goodies

Have a MERRY day!
meceka, that's an absolutely wonderful idea, cooking while it's still cool out! you seem so organized. not to mention, all the things you've made sound yummy! did you make Christmas goodies too? have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon,

Just got home from work, my wife had to take JP to the Dr because behind his ear was all swollen and itchy. She called and left a message before I got home and said they were going to get some bloodwork done to see if it could be a tick bite. hmmm?

I hope you all have a good day.
this can be scary for your child, we had this happen w/ my daughter when she was very young. i pray all is ok for JP.

Hey everyone! How are you? I am well - I know it's been at least 2 days since I've posted and much longer since I've responded to the posts. Life has been so busy lately, but has been for all good reasons. I've missed you all!

Nothing is really new here. DS will be 1 in 2 weeks and I've been busy planning his party. It will just be mainly family, but I still like do a nice party for my kids. It should be fun!

This coming weekend, is the weekend DH and I are going to Pittsburgh for the weekend. I am looking foward to it. 4 nights of work, then I am off to do that. Can't wait.

Anything new with you guys? I hope all is well with you all. I know I have missed a lot. I will try to read and post here in the near future, as much as I can. I think about all of you and see the ones I am friends with on Facebook, as smile and wonder how everyone on MMC is as well. God Bless you and we'll talk soon!

sugar, i hope you have a great time w/ your hubby this weekend. sometimes couples need that break, makes us better rents, but in your case-no need you're already great! sure do miss you!

please be careful CAH!

Greeting all

Hope you all had a good Monday

I'm in Dublin for a few days but will be back on Thursday
hope your trip goes well. be safe & have fun!

Hey everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic day. I am sitting under a fan in an air-conditioned house and I am still sweating! It got up to 100 here today and I had to remind myself that Christmas is on the way no matter how hot it is:). That's a good thing considering it is going to be hitting 100 for the next few days. So I think I will be spending most of my time in the pool until September or so lol.

Have a blessed day everyone!
stay cool sprinklehouse! you'll be all wrinkled up if you stay in the pool THAT long!

Just got back from JP's last baseball game, the Dr's believe he was bit by a deer tick, and they did the blood test to see if he may have contracted Lyme disease, but it is early enough to eradicate it. We will find out in 4 days the results of the blood test.
I forgot to say earlier,

Happy Half-Xmas & Happy :rudolph: Day!
thanks for the update on JP xmas! i will continue to pray for him. how did his last ball game go?

Well my sister's central air went out so it looks like I got house guests for the night.
yaay, a sleep over!

Just read this:

"ABC Family has announced that they are teaming up with Fox TV Studios to create the fifth installment in the Home Alone franchise, Home Alone 5: Alone in the Dark. It will air on ABC Family as a part of their 25 Days of Christmas programming block in December 2012." -from Christmas Specials Wiki

I haven't seen any after H.A. 2, I probably won't see this one either.
thanks for the announcement! have a great day!

Hello my Christmas friends! I thought I'd be around much more with having this extended leave from work for the baby, but all of this running to the hospital to be with baby Charlotte has got me exhausted. Add to that trying to keep my 4 yo entertained and well - I guess I have no life now! Charlotte is doing great and growing big. She's 5 weeks old/33 weeks gestation now and up to 3 pounds. She has a great little personality blooming. Its fun to watch her grow, but just wish it was time for her to come home! Hopefully only a couple more weeks!

Anyways, I just wanted to pop on here and wish you all a Merry Half-way to Christmas! I know you're the only ones that won't look at my like I have 16 heads when I say that LOL. May try to watch a Christmas movie tonight after the kiddo goes to bed and enjoy some hot chocolate if I still have some hidden in the pantry. Too bad I know that I already finished off the last candy cane to dip in it.

Have a great day and think cool thoughts!
~Laney

he's still in my prayers sweety!
had a pretty good day yesterday. spent the whole day w/ all my kids & then hubby joined us after work. so hot it's hard to be outside.
headed to work this a.m. must find something to wear that will be cool enough & still g-rated. it gets sooo hot even inside there by the afternoon. has large windows in direct sunlight & it amps up the heat by 15-20 degrees. have a good day y'all!!

I LOVE unexpected Christmas moments!

A few days ago, my son and I were riding in my truck. I couldn't find anything to listen to on the radio, and I noticed that there was a CD in it, so I started the CD. Winter Wonderland by Dolly Parton was playing! I listened to the whole song while Jacob just laughed at me. :-D

I actually enjoyed the third one - one of the last Christmas movies we watched as a family.

Hi, merry! Yes, I made some Christmas goodies: cranberry orange bread and apple butter bread - haven't tried them yet, but they made the kitchen smell like so good! Have a wonderful day and stay cool!

Good morning!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not a lot to report today. We've been getting rain off & on for a couple days, and it's a welcome event. We have an unclaimed dog roaming around Bellville. He's very friendly, and it seems that someone is feeding him, but no one is claiming him. I don't mind him being around, but I'm afraid he'll get run over. I hope his owner takes him home soon.

Getting ready for our trip to the mountains a week from tomorrow! Nancy has invited her sister & brother-in-law, her mom & dad, and her niece and her two children...all along with the four of us...in a small, three bedroom house! Whew!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Halfway home--- one more six-hour flight, a bus ride, and a taxi ride to get there. Then drop the luggage and hit the hay ...

I'm keeping up with the posts pretty well but not responding extensively because it's tedious typing with a stylus. Hugs to all!

What is Garden Ridge like? Sounds neat...
Our Hobby Lobby had their Christmas scattered all over the store, kinda crazy-like. It was great to see it, though!! Mostly garlands, wreaths, and ornament kits.
The FALL stuff was in 2 aisles, and sparse. Now I'm greedy & want more!!! =)[
It's a very large warehouse full of house decor, outdoor furniture and more. They get quite a bit of Christmas, fall and Halloween decor in every year. You can google their website for more info but I noticed there is not one in your area. :/

Hopefully he doesn't have that! I hope it clears up quickly!
Well my sister's central air went out so it looks like I got house guests for the night.
You have the gift of Hospitality! We can stay at your house, eat at your house and come read your magazines and newspapers! :razz:We can also wash the dishes!

I was just thinking about you yesterday! So glad to see you and hope things slow down for you soon. Give that baby a "gentle" hug for me!
Good night, everyone! Made, thanks for the schedule! Can't wait to watch it with you and Binger...
...and ME!!!

Yolie, forgot to mention this but sorry for your loss. Praying for you.

Caninemom, I hope Wish gets better!!! Praying for you too!

I told you I was sending cooler weather your way!!!

Another drive to Redding today to get the Neulasta shot. We are going early to do some grocery shopping before the shot. After the shot, I will take a pain pill and head for home. As Made always says, "Have a great day, everyone!!!" TTYL

Good morning, Christmas family

Awww...I just read that about the dog roaming who is a stray. If I were there, I would certainly probably fall in love with him ...I hope he stays safe..poor child......

How is everyone ?? Havent been on a lot between work and everything else. I am getting geared up for Christmas in July !! And my sister is coming down on Saturday this week for us to have a "sister" day together.

Wish is still in the hospital. He is on MASSIVE doses of a water pill to try and diurese him and get rid of the pulmonary edema. Dr. said yesterday he had not seen a lot of improvement, though. He was going to try another diuretic to see if it helped more......Keep your fingers and toes and everything that you can crossed.......

On the other hand........I have gained 2o pounds since April ! It makes me uncomfortable though. I was severely underweight so I guess I am "normal" weight now. I don't like it much. When I look in the mirror all I see is an obese middle aged whatchamacallit !!

I did take a test with another company over the weekend, I thought I did pretty well but haven't heard from them yet and even if I do......I still don't know what to do......I know it is ultimately my decision....it is so hard to leave something that may seem safe for something that is unknown....If I had savings it would be different. That way if things didn't work with a new company I would not have to worry about bills but as we have no savings, it could be disastrous...so we'll see. Okay enough babbletalk.

Thank you for everyone remembering to mention Wish and me in their prayers. I know he is old. I also know he was given a sort of reprieve when it was discovered it was his heart and not a brain tumor. I know no matter how long we have them it is never long enough....but I am not done loving him yet or holding him.......I just hope I have a little more time to do that.......

Take care Christmas family xoxo

Special ((((HUGS)))) to Ella, Harlowe, Snowball, Jacob, Cracker, Victor, Gomez and siblings, Chico and siblings, Snickers, Scooby, Sasha, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Baby Bear, and all furchildren everywhere who just need love . xo

Good Morning MMC!

so much to do , so little time!
Finishing off my old job today and then start the new one this afternoon.
Trying to finish off cleaning up around here as I also have a cake to do for Saturday.
Now my daughter wants me to go with her to Toronto on Thursday morning, she won some kind of prize and it needs to be picked up. Better be worth it! What we do for our kids LOL

Hope you all have a great day everyone!

I usually don't get to do anything Christmassy on the 25th, but I had a treat this month! I had ordered Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas & a Yule Log DVD. Both came yesterday, so I watched them last night! DD & I covered up with an afghan & watched Mickey. I just put in the fireplace DVD to see what it looked like. It was very nice. You have three choices: crackling fire, holiday music, or crackling fire & holiday music. Loved it!

Another hot day here, but only mid-80's for a high. Yesterday & the rest of the week has mid to upper 90's for highs, & no rain in sight. We need rain badly here. DD is at an outdoor VBS this week. They do swim in the lake, but I hope she's getting water & shade the rest of the day.

I'm really in the Christmas spirit the last few days & I hope I can keep it up & not wear it out by December 25th.:sparkle:

I know you said the Neulasta was the tough one. I hope it's not as bad this time!

Still praying for you.
