I am suppose to go to my uncle's house and mow the lawn tomorrow! Oh well, typical Texas weather. I have help, 2 lawnmowers, my son does the back yard and I will do the front.

Hey everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic day. I am sitting under a fan in an air-conditioned house and I am still sweating! It got up to 100 here today and I had to remind myself that Christmas is on the way no matter how hot it is. That's a good thing considering it is going to be hitting 100 for the next few days. So I think I will be spending most of my time in the pool until September or so lol.

Just got back from JP's last baseball game, the Dr's believe he was bit by a deer tick, and they did the blood test to see if he may have contracted Lyme disease, but it is early enough to eradicate it. We will find out in 4 days the results of the blood test.

Just got home from work, my wife had to take JP to the Dr because behind his ear was all swollen and itchy. She called and left a message before I got home and said they were going to get some bloodwork done to see if it could be a tick bite. hmmm?

Wayne and I went to Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Garden Ridge yesterday.

Hobby Lobby added more Christmas goodies and had 2 rows of Fall decor. The aisle smelled so good with their fall candles!

Garden Ridge had quite a bit of Christmas items, Fall decor and several rows of Halloween items.

Michaels had a half row of Fall decor out but it's a start!

What is Garden Ridge like? Sounds neat...
Our Hobby Lobby had their Christmas scattered all over the store, kinda crazy-like. It was great to see it, though!! Mostly garlands, wreaths, and ornament kits. :smile:
The FALL stuff was in 2 aisles, and sparse. Now I'm greedy & want more!!! =)

Good evening, Christmas family

Another Sunday night and another week of trying to get to the weekend coming up. I am really sad to say my little Wishbone is in the hospital. I should not have bragged he would be 16 in August I guess..... He has congestive heart failure and I don't know if he will make it.....I miss him so much, I can't even put it in words.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

As Dawg said, we're very overcast and expecting more rain...yippee! I'll never again argue with a rainy day after the drought we been dealing with.

My sister-in-law took my old council seat when I became mayor, and at our last meeting she pressed for us to meet yesterday afternoon to clean out the council office...on my Sunday afternoon! I was irritated, but I went. Apparently, she got irritated, too, while we were working and she left! Grrrr. I told everyone to just leave it like it was, and we'll resume when she can be there, too. Now we have a bigger mess than before. LOL

That would be so cool!!!! I wanted to drive up there the last time I was in Vegas but no one else wanted to go. They were having to much fun celebrating my friends 21st birthday.

Checking out within the hour, then up the mountain for a last visit with Gloria, then off to the airport. We splutter for a west upgrade on the redeye so we can maybe get some sleep. Change planes at LAX, get into Boston around dinnertime tomorrow. Taking Wed. off to get caught up and do laundry. TTY then!

Hello my Christmas friends! I thought I'd be around much more with having this extended leave from work for the baby, but all of this running to the hospital to be with baby Charlotte has got me exhausted. Add to that trying to keep my 4 yo entertained and well - I guess I have no life now! Charlotte is doing great and growing big. She's 5 weeks old/33 weeks gestation now and up to 3 pounds. She has a great little personality blooming. Its fun to watch her grow, but just wish it was time for her to come home! Hopefully only a couple more weeks!

Anyways, I just wanted to pop on here and wish you all a Merry Half-way to Christmas! I know you're the only ones that won't look at my like I have 16 heads when I say that LOL. May try to watch a Christmas movie tonight after the kiddo goes to bed and enjoy some hot chocolate if I still have some hidden in the pantry. Too bad I know that I already finished off the last candy cane to dip in it.
