The boys got new bikes yesterday and the rain does not stop them
from biking. =]
It's kind of dark, so it's so nice with some candles here.

Was hoping to barbeque in the backyard this afternoon.
(In the rain? Will see...)

I have to do some shopping.

The queen is in northern ireland and its just another row
As one of our irish politicans is shaking hands with the queen and it is causing a tara uproar... what a country we live in !!!!. i really dont care either way. i was not raised to be like that. and i have enough to think about without fighting about who shakes hands with who
Have you guys elections coming up soon?
Its dull today but dry at the moment but think its gives rain later
Last week one of our banks went down and what a mess. people could not get out any money pay checks were not cleared. people on benifits could not get out there money. bills were not paid. something to do with a new software they had put in..
Right the tea cup is emply and have pallets so time i got my act together lol

It feels like ages since I have been on!

My 3 month old baby has been keeping me busy, not to mention work and my brothers wedding at the end of the week!

Can't believe its nearly the end of June, hope everyone is having better weather than me, we have had 2 weeks of rain and another 4 weeks are forecast!

g'morning to all my fabulous My MC family! seems it's gonna be around 107 degrees F. this weekend we will definitely be doing all the outdoor work early in the a.m.

my son has been moping around since he & his fiance called it quits. i think they're gonna give it another go...we'll see!

my daughter has AP biology this fall in high school. the class requires a summer assignment. i have to go pick up her book this afternoon & it sounds like she will be very busy over the rest of the summer w/ that.

i'm trying not to sound ?braggish?, but my hubby received an award @ work last week. it seems he has implemented some new programs there that have/will improve the work place w/ less tool loss, accountability, & new software. i am extremely proud of him! he does work very hard & i'm so happy to see him finally be recognized for it. his award was 100 shares of their stock, very appreciated.

all this talk of Christmas had me super excited yesterday @ work. you're not gonna believe what colors boss decided to go w/ this year after going to the retail show in Atlanta? just guess?.........
garnet (burgandy), BLACK, & white! i'm all for our Carolina Gamecocks but on a tree? she assured me it's not got anything to do w/ the Gamecocks (especially since she's a Clemson fan), it's just really nice the way the show had it set up. i just can't get my head around BLACK on a Christmas tree. i don't know, we'll see! the theme for the big display window is peppermint candy which i do think will be nice. we have several different trees throughout the shop & it's up to me to decide themes for the rest. this part of my job....I LOVE!

Just got in from swimming with my friend and our daughters! Had a great time again, the girls were really well behaved! Need to call into town later to pick up afew bits for my eldest daughter who is going away on a residential trip with school in a couple of week!

Really fancy getting curled up on the sofa later with a hot chocolate and a xma movie! been feeling really xmassy since we passed the halfway mark!!!

Today is free movie day so I'm getting ready to head out and pick up my niece's here shortly. Today is the smurf's. I also have some laundry to do this afternoon before the real heat hits tomorrow. Oh I found a pop called Mountain Dew Voltage. This tastes exactly like pepsi blue. Makes me excited! lol. I get excited when I find a new pop. Doesn't take much eh? haha. I need the pines tonight. My work told me I'm not working monday. I wanted the extra money and they didn't even give me a chance to work it. Sheesh! Its time off but the extra money would be nice. Not much new with us. Wife and I spent last night watching the tv show on dvd Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Love that show. Well I am at work so I better get back to it! Have a wonderful day everyone and see you at the pines! I have a headache. I've had it for a couple days now. Neither Tylenol nor Aleve can...alleviate the pain. Oh well. I'll get over it.

We had burgers from Steak -n- Shake last night. It was pretty good. I had their ultimate burger, which was loaded with cheese, bacon, etc. and a fried egg on top! And I wonder why I have a headache. :wink:

I love Steak n Shake! When I don't feel for a burger I get their chicken, it's really good. Their milkshakes are the best. I always get half chocolate and half banana.

I have an awful headache too. Try ibuprofen? It always works for me! I hope you feel better!
