Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening, Christmas family !!

I am sitting here winding down after work and guess what !!!

WISH IS RIGHT BESIDE ME !!!!! He is doing very well and I am so happy I can't tell you.......If I could have one gift in the world for the rest of my life it is this moment and knowing that Wish is doing just fine.......

Hermione is also doing well after her "getting fixed" surgery. At first she was having a lot of pain.......The vet did not send home any pain medication........I think he figures dogs dont have pain from being fixed but I KNOW THEY DO !! Poor sweet girl.......I found some pain medication in he cupboard and tailored it to her weight and she has been much more comfortable......

Here is a picture of one of the special ornaments that only Hallmark members can get this year........

It is called Mrs. Claus Cupboard and it is SO DETAILED .......It just sings CHRISTMAS !!

I hope all are well........I am quite exhausted...A lot of it is stress I know but I am praying that perhaps with the medication Wish will have quite a while though the prognosis is only a few months.....

yaay for wishbone!!! I'm so happy to read this. As far aas the prognosis, didn't they say something similar last time? & look he did well for so long as i'm sure he will this time too. Poor hermoine, they did the same w/ our pups when they were "fixed", no meds, how would they like to have surgery & have to endure the pain afterward? Not!!!
I love the hallmark christmas ornament. May have to join this club!

2 OF MY KIDS ARE ALREADY HAVING BOUTS OF SWIMMER'S EAR. I HAVE DROPS ON HAND BUT SOMETIMES WE END UP @ THE DOC WHEN THEY'VE BEEN IN THE WATER ALOT. NO PAIN YET SOOO....

It was a bit warmer here yesterday, as the heat and humidity begin to approach.
We are predicted to be over 100 degrees Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
(Glad I got in that yard work when I did.)
Currently, we show 63 degrees here this morning.

I watched It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas last night. I couldn't watch just one! Needed some smiles, and that did the trick.

Tomorrow is Harlowe's 4th Birthday! Time sure flies. I'm going to head over to Petsmart & Barking Dogs bakery today for her presents =] We'll have the neighbor dogs over, and a little celebration. Should be fun

By the time I heard the news about Deuce it was too late. I can't seem to keep up on here or facebook and miss a lot of post. Sorry to hear what happened. =(

Yesterday my granddaughter and I took a walk before it got too hot. Started out at 9:30 am then headed to the park for a very short time. We came home then I let my granddaughter play in the water sprinkler out in the backyard.

We came in and read some books and watched The Santa Clause. She loves that movie!

I think we might take another walk today.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be really hot here in Central Indy today with a high of 102. I don't have to babysit this morning but I'm getting ready to head to southern Indiana here in a couple of hours for a funeral. We haven't seen Ted in years but if it wasn't for him convincing my grandpa to move to Indiana in the early 60's I might be Sugar's next door neighbor right now. Then I have to head home and pick up my niece's to stay overnight because my sister finally has surgery tomorrow!!!!! So hopefully things can get back to normal here soon. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

The temperature has been so moderate around here, I almost thought we were going to get away without any hot weather. Alas, it's not to be. Mid-90's today, and mid-100's at least through the weekend. Helllloooo swimming pool!

Actually, I have to get on the lawnmower first. I think I'll put Jacob on the mower, instead.

Today it is going to be a hot one! The forecast for the next couple of weeks is all in the 90's or low 100's. I enjoy summer but not when the temperatures are that hot!
