Well it sounds like some band leaders need to have some common sense knocked into them. They always have a big 4th of July parade in Carmel on the north side of Indy and the high school bands usually march in it. Well common sense would say that it was probably to hot to make the kids wear their full band uniforms today but apparently the band leaders disagreed. Now there are 16 kids on the way to the hospital and even more being treated at the scene.

Wow, that is ridiculous. I hope those kids are okay.

A friend of ours runs a lot and just finished a 100-mile race from Lake Tahoe to Placerville. She came in first in the women and 6th overall. What an accomplishment! Oh, and she did this with a broken arm, so she had on her red cast!

100 miles!!! Good for her. I have a hard enough time running 1 mile. cheesy

I am not sure where this show is coming from (New York?) It is live on NBC, fireworks, lots of singing (just finished Proud to be an American) Now singing an armed forces melody.

Good evening,

What a great day! The parade was great, JP had fun. The temperature on the blacktop down there was at 110*F while the air was 86F. My headache came back, but I came home and laid down in front of the AC for a bit before starting the grill.
Back to work tomorrow. Blecch!

Have a good night!

Wow, this has been one of the top five July Fourths of my life. I hate to see it wind down and end. I'll be waking up tomorrow with the Post-Fourth Blues ...

Thanks to all of you for helping to make it special!

Wow!!!!! I'd have a heart attack after 100 yards. Well I might be able to make it 200 yards if my life depended on it.

Good evening, Christmas family

I am going to watch The Big Bang Theory and then off to bed hopefully. Two more days of work this week then two days off.
It turns out that my husband's truck is going to cost $1800 to fix.....I don't understand why but then I don't understand mechanics of a vehicle. The Chevy dealer tells him that the fuel pump he had in his truck was not "putting out enough pressure" or something like that and that he needs his gas lines replaced..........I dont get why these would be that much money........Oh well. As one of my former favorite characters on Saturday Night Live, Rosanne Rosanna Danna used to say........"It's ALWAYS something !"

Take care, Christmas family !! xo

Hey gang! Hope everyone is enjoying their fourth. Pretty lazy around here in anticipation of our trip to the lake. We leave tomorrow around 4:00 and will be back Sunday. I'm so excited!

Britt, good to see you!

As we all gather around at the Pines for the fireworks....I just want y'all to know that I'm glad we are all together. This is a great place and I enjoy spending my time here....

Are they completely replacing the lines from front to back? That seems high for a chevy. The premade lines can get pretty pricey though. Plus my guess is that they are replacing the whole sending unit along with the pump. That's the part that controls the gas gauge. Most dealers won't take it apart and just replace the pump. They want to get the cars in and out as fast as they can.
