We finalized our plans to see The Dark Knight Rises, we will be going on Tuesday, I cannot wait to see it, I have loved the first two movies in the series.

got to finally see this van that someone is giving me. 2000 Ford Windstar, in great shape. Needs a brake job, has some rust on the driver side sliding door. AC works, battery dead right now, but is under warranty so if they do not get it going it will be replaced with a new one. My brother is coming to pick it up on the weekend to do all thee work it needs. Interior is really nice.
I can hardly wait to drive it!!

In other news, I have a new job. Much like my previous job, it pays very little, but it is only a few blocks from my house. I wasn't happy at my other position and was offered a new position, so I accepted. I am already feeling much better with the new position. Now all I need to do is get on the computer at work regularly to catch up with the countdown!

Good Morning, Folks.

Another week crested.
Another visit to the 'Pines enjoyed.
Bing is back on site.
......and all is right with the MMC world.

Especially when you consider this:
Days to the Season: 117
Days to Christmas Day: 159
Now under 2 1/2 weeks remain until the 100-day Season Window opens.
And what a view we will have!
(There's not much prettier than a double-digit count figure.)

More H&H. Still no rain to cool things down, either. Maybe today -- a better chance is predicted.
Currently, we have 77 degrees here at this hour in the capital city.

what a change in temperature! I have all the windows open in the house and I am actually chilly.
Going to enjoy this lack of humidity and heat. Supposed to get real hot again on the weekend.
For now I will sit in front of my open window and enjoy the breze and my tea.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a hot day here but there is a 50% chance of storms this afternoon!!!!!! Then we cool down into the high 80's for the next 2 days!! I need to run to the grocery store some time today and then it is back home to take a nap. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who let Uncle Joe in last night at the Pines? Good old crazy Uncle Joe!

Its nice and cool this morning. We haven't had morning temps like this for a while, its been hot and sticky all the time. Boy oh boy if I didn't have to work I would be sitting out on the porch surfing the forums! Pesky work, gets in the way! haha. Anyone know of a good Christmas relaxing cd to get? I normally relax to a Charlie Brown Christmas cd. I do have a music box Christmas tape, yes tape, because it was never made on cd. I looked for it and only found the tape for sale. Its very nice sounding, Ill have to post a sample of it! Well back to work I go, hope everyone stays cool!
