I went down to our Hallmark store because they always have great Christmas in July stuff...this year nothing!!! I could not believe it. Lady told me they sold everything last Christmas and had nothing to put out. I was so disappointed. Going to London on Friday so will check out the store there.

Good Morning, MMC~

It's going to be another hot & dry day in Vegas! Looking forward to the weekend when the monsoon season will be back in action. Possible rain & temps dropping @ 10 degrees. I'll take it!

I watched all of the HSN shows last night that I had dvr'd from Christmas In July. Nothing really impressed me more than the Thomas Kinkade stuff. Which is good, because I spent enough at Hallmark last weekend. Still fun to see all of the Christmas decorations, though!

I called Marshalls, Ross, and Home Goods last week to see when they're putting out their Fall & Christmas this year..they said mid-August for Fall & late September for Christmas. I notice that it gets a little earlier each year, which I don't mind at all =]

Work is going to be busy & kind of stressful today. Time to get out our financial documents & job cost them out. Fun, fun. Wish me luck!

It is hot here today, yesterday we had a HUGE meeting for the 9/11 ceremonies. Not too much going on, I still have a few more movies left on my DVR from Christmas in July, I so love it.

Good afternoon, MMC!

I can't believe that it is already 3:30 PM here! The day has gone by very quickly. I find myself to be pretty tired. I didn't get to bed until after 3 in the morning last night, and I woke up a little bit before 8 AM. Not very much sleep - but I'll deal with it! I guess I could use an energy drink.

Work has been slow today due to technical issues, so I have been catching up on school work and taking it easy. There wasn't much that we could do from noon and beyond anyways. We had a string of very severe thunderstorms and hail, which caused us to lose power for over an hour and a half. Thankfully the storms seemed to stop for now and the power is back on, but we're supposed to get even more severe storms this evening.

I guess I will be hiding in the air conditioning - maybe I'll catch up on a Christmas movie! I could go for something like Home Alone 2 :]

Good Afternoon MMC!!!!! It was a hot out earlier but then another rain storm came through!!!!!! Now we are hovering right around 80 degree's. I'll take it. I don't have much planned for this evening. I think the next couple of days are going to be devoted to sleeping so I'll be ready for this weekend. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey gang....got home and have been relaxing tonight...drinking some coffee...and plotting my strategy for the weekend....here goes

Friday....noonish...going to buy groceries with the wife. We will drop by Hobby Lobby, where I will remember to take pictures of the Christmas items they are putting out....return home and cook a nice meal...and watch a Christmas movie to celebrate Christmas in July....

Saturday....up early with everyone (maybe stay up), especially Binger and Made to watch some QVC...if you didn't witness the spectacular last year, it was a riot! Around three, we will leave home and head to eat and go see a movie.....BATMAN.

Sunday....more of the same...QVC and coffee....

This is going to be a great weekend!

Less Batman and More QVC!!!!!! You'll miss all the Glitter on Saturday night!!!!!!!

Okay I double checked the Schedule and tell the wife that you only have between 4 and 7pm. Then you have to be home for the Glitter!!!!

Valerie par Hill says she will have 25 new items on Saturday

Jim Shore will have an hour show on saturday but he will also be on several other shows throughout the weekend. (I better lock up the credit and debit card)

Whew.... Hail is coming down... Glad I am indoors!!! It is POURING out... As the old saying goes it is raining kitties and puppies, oh now wouldn't that be too cute for words!!!!

afternoon/evening MMC family!!!


whew wee! I can't even begin to try and respond to everyone I want to! I got to learn how to do the paste thing lol. Getting ready to start supper here, it's been HOT,HOT,HOT!! But inside the house it's cool so thats always nice! I watched the Christmas Cottage last night when all the kids went to bed. Has anyone ever saw it? If ya haven't you GOTTA see it!! it's a wonderful movie, I own it and I just love it!


I so wish I had cable or something, I'm missing all the Christmas in July stuff thats going on, I even have to see the weather here on the pc:-?


So, I rekkon I'll jump off of here for now and cook, the kids will be yelling "I'm hungry soon and the poor DH came home from work not feeling well. I so worry about him, where he works there is no a/c at all and with him having Diabetes, I guess I just worry alot. He has lost 35 pounds since I started making things with splenda and cooking abit more healthy. I've lost 14 pounds but I guess thats better than nothing right? lol Talk to y'all later!

Either I am messing up royally or my computer is - I vote for the computer! Lots of odd things are happening - slower than normal loading, missing words in posts, missing statements, etc. Good thing I am only working on store stuff - I'd be fired from my other job! It all began when I started to download a Java update the other day. Hmmmmm . . .

What a drive! I never saw rain like that in my LIFE. About 15 minutes after we left, the radio mentioned that Route 9 was closed due to flooding. If we hadn't left when we did, we probably couldn't have gotten out. When we hit the state line, the sun came out. The weather is supposed to be great the next few days, so all is well. How's things at the Pines?
