Good afternoon all you Christmassy people!!!

Yesterday after work, I canned jalapeno pickles - 10 pints + 2 qts... While canning these, I watched "A Golden Christmas" & "A Golden Christmas: The Second Tail" on Netflix. Cute movies! I liked the setting in the 1st movie better, but both were cute, family movies. Today at lunch I put a ham in the oven for our Christmas in July party Saturday - can't wait to walk in the house after work tonight & smell that baking! It feels like Christmas!!! :smile:

i am so happy it is almost friday....I hope there wont be much mail tomorrow....since it aint fun riding the bike in heat like dis....lol....other than that....all is cool...kandice just fell asleep on my back...lol....we were looking at all those beautiful christmas in july ecards....luved it

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is a hot and muggy one here right now ~ does not bode well for the evening when storms are likely to hit. I have been drinking a lot of coffee today as I don't want to sleep through any storms so I can take care of Bo. Looks like a storm moving in now, but I don't think it will amount to much other than much needed rain :dance:

For all those in potential severe weather areas, please stay safe!!!

Awww...Poor Bo.....have you seen those coats they have for doggies who are afraid of storms ?? I don't know if they work.......I think they have them at Pet Smart and places like that......xo

hey y'all!! had an extremely slow day @ work. bummer. ended up leaving about 50 minutes early due to a migraine. not sure what's going on w/ me & my daughter...we both are experiencing an unusual amount of migraines the passed 2 or 3 weeks. total misery. y'all have a good night! love, hugs, & prayers!!!:sparkle:

Had a very nice day. Picked up mom, then went to London to pick up my daughter and a part for my van. Then we took back roads to my brothers place near Paris. On the way we stopped at a few stores and thrift shops.
Came home, dropped off mom and then Jeannine surprised her brother and sister by being here. We had a nice supper and then drove her back to London.
Home again and enjoying some quiet time.

Well, no tornadoes...but a lot of heavy rain. The worst part of the storm went about 25 miles north of us....60 mph winds and hail. My Mom, Wife, and I went out to eat before we the storm got here...when the left Red Lobster (yum), the temp had dropped about 15 to 20 degrees and there was a wind blowing....it felt great. We beat it (the storm) home and I sit on the deck and just felt the wind blow...it was so peaceful....

We had a heat index of 110 here in the capital city yesterday as the heat and humidity continue unabated. Not even an afternoon rain to cool things down.
It was still well into the 80's at midnight.
Currently, we already show 79 degrees here at this hour.
Whew!

Wow, we sure had some pretty wicked storms that came thru my area last night. Hopefully, that will be a signal for cooler temperatures to follow today and this weekend. The weekend - Yea; It's Friday, TTL! Well, this weekend for me means for me, that I have alot of work to do at my grandfathers house and a honey do list to work on at my house and I'm teaching my daughter how to drive (that can be fun, so stay off the road:lol: )! As professor Hinkle said in Frosty the Snowman "Busy! Busy! Busy!".

Wow summer is just flying right by, it was Snickers Birthday yesterday 4 years old!!! My sweet little girl, you know she was our Christmas Gift to each other in 2008, by far the very best gift we ever gave to one another, we both completely agree on that.

I wanted to stop by and let you all know that the bad weather that passed through went by fast and we are all safe and sound in my area (both work and at home). Hope all of you are all OK. Well I must catch up on MMC, I am aching to see what has gone on I miss you all!!!!

Oh my goodness, I hope you are better! I'm sorry you and your daughter are having such a bad time with migraines ~ they are horrible! I read somewhere that food can cause them and I was wondering if you have been keeping a food diary to see if there are any that might start yours? Have a MERRY day, merry! {{{HUGS}}}
