Christmas Countdown - 2012

ouch! Penny was sitting on my shoulder (her favorite spot) and something scared her....I have 4 long scratches and 3 big holes...my son came down to patch me up and put some antibiotic cream on.
I think I will put an end to letting her sit there!

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Just got done working about an hour ago.......I don't want anyone here to panic but as I type I am in a major, major asthma attack.....I am used to them...I wanted to post here before I took my medicine......

Next Monday is my first day at the new job. Very honestly I am scared...but the only way out is through.........I went to mass yesterday and made sure to talk with our Heavenly Father about it and I know all here will pray......If I could also ask my fellow Catholic friends to say a couple of Hail Mary's for me...That would be fantastic !!!

The hawk never came back after that time when it circled us yesterday. I know they can be fierce and have sharp talons but I was in "mommy mode" so even if it would have attacked, it would have wished it didn't !! I would fight for my kids to my last breath.......speaking of which.......I will be back in a few !!

my daughter had asthma real bad when she was little, I am amazed you were able to keep typing while having an attack...will definitely pray for you...take your meds and when you are feeling better come back and let us know.

Watching the Olympics, just not into it, but the better half is. My book I ordered finally came in today it is called "Unholy Night" by Seth Grahame-Smith, there was a chapter teasing me at the end of the last book I read "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" so I had to get it, Unholy Night has a Christmas connection to it that intrigued me, here is a synopsis:

I am back and I am better....Sometimes when I have an attack like that one it takes a while to subside (blue nailbeds and the whole nine yards !!) But once I took my medicine and started just relaxing and lettng the medicine do its work.......it started to get better.......Nailbeds are back to being pink (much better than the pale blue they were !! )

I really hope Autumn is more "normal" than this Summer has been. This has been absolutely ridiculous.......Have a good evening, Christmas family xoxo

Don't count on it. Our local news interviewed the national weather service and they said above normal temperatures all the way through winter.

Well I am about to head to bed....it's been a great day..I feel we are getting so close to late summer!!! schools are starting back...in just 2 months cooler weather willhopefully be here...I sure hope we have a cold winter..last year was so warm...maybe this year will BE THE opposite! good night everyone!

Howdy Christmas Family!!!

it's Been a LONG HOT TIRING DAY!!!!! and I'm still bummed cause I can't access MMC radio! Oh well Maybe I'll get the sucker to work before Christmas lol. Kids are all fine and so is DH. I just hate he has to work out in this heat! it takes it's toll and I do worry about him. I'm a worry wart!

Good morning!
We just had a funeral here for a little crow baby.
It came here yesterday, looking for protection, I guess.
It's strange that birds seek out to us humans when they are injured.
Crying for help..

While many many other Crows was trying to kill him.
Why do they do that?

So the boys fed him, and took care of him all day.
Even after I thought they were sleeping, they were out to watch over the little crow.

They tried to hide him before they got to bed yesterday.
BUT our neighbours cat did find it...
So the boys are so sad, they fall in love with the little birdie..

Well, thats life I guess. A bird who cant fly, do not survive long.
I wish I could take him in, but who does that? LOL

So we had a funeral and the bird is now in heaven..
And I told the boys that the bird is so thankful and grateful for
that they tried to look after him. And that they cared. And Im sure he is...

I'm sending my oldest daughter (14) to Bulgaria today!
I have to deliver here at the airport in an hour.
A little bit anxious (I am) But I believe she will be fine...
She is travelling with my oldest sister and her son, my nephew.

They are staying for two weeks.
While my daughter is flying home after a week (alone)
She probably get to know some other kids/families who are travelling that day.
(my sister will follow her to the airport of course)
But she is still my little baby, and a mother always worries right?


So, what happens here? Any plans for the day?
The last day in July!!!!!

I am back and I am better....Sometimes when I have an attack like that one it takes a while to subside (blue nailbeds and the whole nine yards !!) But once I took my medicine and started just relaxing and lettng the medicine do its work.......it started to get better.......Nailbeds are back to being pink (much better than the pale blue they were !! )

I checked quick on my phone last night and saw that you were back and better.
One thing that really helped my daughter was to sit in the bathroom shower cutain pulled and shower on full blast and hot...filled the room with steam and made breathing easier for her quicker than just meds alone.
So glad you are feeling better!
