Good morning!
Friday, and weekend...
I love Fridays!

Mr (the man of the house) is coming home tonight.
He is visiting his father at the hospital where he is having his
chemo and radiation.
The prognoses for my FIL does not look good. This cancer can't be beaten.
So it will come back over and over again...
My FIL did not want to know the prognoses. He wants to live.
And will do so till end of time.. But we do pray, and hope.
Miracles do happen!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went for a walk this morning, and it was still cool outside from the rain yesterday. It was easy to pretend that fall was near!

I'm going to town to meet my mom for lunch at the local sandwich shop. I hope I can find enough low-cholesterol, low-sodium stuff to make a decent sandwich. Turkey, turkey, and more turkey!

Wayne and I went to the lake for a walk this morning. I am still feeling a bit sluggish but trying to keep on going! Wayne wants me to take it easy, as he always tells me, but I have stuff I need to take care of. He is such a big help but he needs his rest too. He has been putting in a lot of overtime at work. I don't want his heart to start acting up again!

At least we have Christmas in our heart. That makes everything MERRY! laying:

I'm glad you were able to get out for a walk. I hope you are feeling better soon. You do need to take it easy...don't over-do it if you aren't up too it!!!

Good evening Christmas family !

I am on the way to bed. I am exhausted. What with training and having to then do some jobs on the new system and still having to maintain my old job I am absolutely beat. I haven't been sleeping the past couple nights so that just adds to the exhaustion.

Thanks to all of you that commented on my brother and sister in law sitution. its stil going on my brother is glad now as he is starting to feel free. but the kids want her to come home.(she is in scotland maybe maureen has seen her lol) not home as to my brothers house but to get a house in the town. and all was not to bad for a day or so then she asked for the furniture out of the sons bedroom so its all hit of again.. am listening to it all ways..

My big bbq is tomorrow night and truth i could be doing without it but it was arranged a good while ago think there is 80 coming so the marquee is going up today and am gonna get the tables and lights and things set up
All my friends are coming thats if i have any left as some of them i have not spoke to in over a week ...

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here with a high of 97 degree's later today. My youngest niece is already here and she is in a mood. Thankfully I only have her for a couple of hours while her parents are at the eye doctor. Then I need to get some laundry done and start packing. I think the plan right now is to head here on Monday for 4 days. We've camped there a lot before when we were in scouts but it use to be a gravel road and an open field. The park is new. While there we are going to hike the Delaney park and Spurgeon hollow loops of the Knobstone Trail. Then we are going to come back home for a few days to cool down and restock before heading further south to camp here. It should be fun if it doesn't get to hot. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still tired from last week's mission trip and I was looking forward to the weekend. However, my wife says we will probably go do some back to school shopping. It is sales tax free weekend in NC and our closest shopping mall is 90 miles away in Asheville so it will be a full day of shopping. At least we get eat lunch at a Chick-fil-A.

Hubby & I are going out for dinner tonight, to celebrate his birthday. He keeps teasing me & calling me Mrs. Robinson because I'm a year older, lol. Hahaha! He's too funny :wink: Last night, we had a nice, low-key evening. For one of his presents, I got him the latest Tiger Woods tour for his PS3. He was so excited, and played it most of the night.

Tomorrow, I'm going to go visit a friend of mine whose husband is out of town. We are going to hang out w/ her dog, Chile & cat, Cartier, and have a girl's day. Which means comfort foods & a Christmas movie. She hasn't seen The Family Stone, so I'll bring that over =] Should be fun.

It's still hot & humid here. But, the clouds have been replaced w/ sun, so it's pretty much unbearable. Bring on Fall already!
