last day of VBS! It has been so much fun. On Sunday we are having our wrap up party...video of the past week, BBQ, petting zoo, jumping upon thingy for the kids and a chance to meet the family of all these wonderful kids.
Work last night was crazy, but that happens from time to time...makes the shift go by fast!
Meeting family for lunch...some from Alberta and some from Vermont. It will be nice to get a quick visit in.

TGIF everyone! This morning as I was driving to work the outside temp gauge said 80F at 630am!!! it was sultry humid sauna type weather...and I thought to myself " it's the peak of the summer season" and if I can just handle a few more days cooler weather will be on the way! Reading Crowns,and everyone elses posts help to with the countdown!! I hope everyone had a good week! I am going to be around more with work slowing down abd the holidays coming up I can't wait and am looking forward to it! Have a blessed day everyone!

Today is the first day of school and Bellville is the epicenter of a humongous traffic jam. I don't think I've ever seen so many people in town before. I'm sure it's just because it's the first day of school. Surely it won't be like this all year!
Tomorrow I'll be at Bernie's, so y'all come on down for breakfast! I'll be having wheat toast and turkey bacon, but there'll be plenty of fresh pork sausage and eggs to go around.

I am always at the command of MMC as far as the jet is concerned. You can name your time and place!

Nobody looks at the yard!! I still haven't had a chance to cut the grass!
My trip to the dealership yesterday:
So, even though I printed out & handed them the entire advertisement for the vehicle from their web page which included the price in big bold letters with no, zero, nada asteriks or fine print they can not sell it to me at that price since I am not military or civil service (and they admitted they should have printed that out). Plus the vehicle has 2,000 miles on it which is a bit much for a 2012 sitting on the lot & the salesman could not give me a history about it being a program car, rental car or being used personally by management. But what they did do was go back up to the original MSRP and then spend 5 minutes talking to me about 3 separate Chevy and dealer rebates that bring the price back down to somewhere in between the two prices. Then spend another 5 minutes talking about their #1 ranked service, the free tank of gas, the warranty, etc, etc.
Yeah, I left. They have my number and my email and that truck has been on their lot since April or earlier. I'll let them come to me and we can start over. If they don't, Eh, I'll wait for something better.
