Now under a week left until our next Milestone, the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day.
All right!

Another great day yesterday for August. No rain, not overly humid and the temp was down a bit.
We have 74 degrees showing here this morning, with a chance of rain.
The only negative is the mosquitoes!
Anyone here ever had any luck with these mosquitoe spray services? I'm about at my wit's end. This is the worst summer for them we have ever had!

Well, be that as it may, I refuse to let it prevent me from having a Super Sunday.

well i've missed the greasy skillet, the chat, & let's see what else? oh i think it's too much to mention.

took the kids shopping this afternoon, they got the rest of what they're getting for school, atleast what i have to be with them to get. son has to go tomorrow & get some binders & a few more supplies.
i am so dreading this school year starting. i hate having to get daughter up so early....she's just like me & we clash big time in the early a.m. then the 25 mile trek to her school/ 1 way. yuck yuck!!!

between here, facebook, & pinterest i've not done anything else this evening. aahh who cares? i'm tired & wanted to do my own thing. there's alot of stuff on pinterest as far as Christmas decor & ideas. love it!

ok here i go again.....instead of losing any weight i have gained to the point i'm @ my heaviest...EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really feeling it in every aspect. gotta/must do something. i wish we could just reprogram our wiring to not eat or atleast not much. never exercise like i had planned to. our shop is a fully equipped gym inside & i've not touched any of it. must get the drive & energy needed to do this.

going to back to the doc on monday august 26 to get the cancer spot removed from my leg. i've not been back in the sun since i found out what that spot is. should've been doing that all along. oh would'a, could'a, should'a, alittle late for that now. i'll just be glad when it's done w/, ya' know?

not been in a very good/nice mood today.bit my kids heads off every time i turned around. i kept apologizing & telling them it was me not anything they had done but that doesn't make it ok. i gotta get a grip!!!

well, think i'm gonna go to bed now.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another nice day here with a high of 78 degree's. Still a little hot for my taste but I'll take it over the 90's we were having. I'm going to head to church since I can't even remember the last time I was there and then it will be back home to tackle all of these tomatoes. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of Dallas, have you been watching Dallas on TV?

Living in Dallas all my life and never watched the show Dallas, now or back then. I have been to Southfork Ranch many times and have passed it on my way going places. The time I went there was for a Chuck Berry concert, good concert by the way! The funny thing is, Southfork Ranch is not in Dallas but in Parker, Texas (close enough) I am only about 20 minutes away from it. My brother lives down the block from the Ranch.

Are you watching it?

I would say it's time for a nap but I've got 30 pounds of tomato's sitting on my counter. Who wants to come help me make some sauce?

Yesterday afternoon, after our walk, I got my first real smile from Missy and here it is!

Also, this morning she needed some hugs which I was ever-so-happy to give:
Finally, last night I filled out an online form in hopes of becoming a volunteer with the Girl Scouts. I was a GS for 7 years when I was growing up and I would LOVE to help with the next generation. Keep your fingers crossed that I hear back from them! :yahoo:

going to back to the doc on monday august 26 to get the cancer spot removed from my leg. i've not been back in the sun since i found out what that spot is. should've been doing that all along. oh would'a, could'a, should'a, alittle late for that now. i'll just be glad when it's done w/, ya' know?

I actually went to facebook last night for the first time in several days to join in on the Greasy Skillet! I was late for it but good show of what I heard! I thought about catching up on there but it would take forever so I skipped it. I need to keep up here first!

Busy day today so if I don't return later, I will be here tomorrow.

I love cool mornings...it's so nice sitting outside in jogging pants while drinking coffee and thinking about Christmas. NICE. It's getting to be my favorite time of year!

Well, I am going to relax for most of the day. Think I will watch the race...maybe cook a little something on the grill....etc.

Hello! Soooo glad it's Sunday because I both went to bed (and woke up) feeling lousy with an outragous headache. Still took my Missy-poo out to do her business but other than that, I'm inside in my pajamas.

I am not much of a fan, but Hubby watched the original and wanted to see the new one. I am amazed at how quickly the storyline changes--it is sometimes just a matter of minutes! I really cannot tolerate unfaithfulness and this is full of it!
