Hey all! My name is Amanda, and I'm officially coming out of the Christmas Closet to admit that yes, I am indeed addicted to Christmas. My husband has tried everything in his power to persuade me to get help for my problem...I, however, enjoy and revel in my addiction.

I am 30 years old, and I live in Jacksonville, NC. My husband is a US Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune and currently on deployment.

I am looking forward to hanging out with my fellow addicts...see you on the boards!

First of all, with your husband being on deployment and away from you right now, please let ME know if you need anything! I can't imagine anything harder to go through. I know you'll need a lot of support!

Second, feel free to post as often as you like! I, for one, appreciate any and all posts!!

Thank you, oh my fellow addicts, for your warm welcomes. This addiction...it is the fault of my early childhood. My mother gave me my first fix, and continued to feed my hunger for all things red-and-green, sparkly, spangle-y, ribbony, ho-ho-ho-y and jingle-belly.

This one's hard... with the hubby deployed, I have no kids and I work and can't go home, so this Christmas will be me, myself and I.
