I just look at that corner in my living room and excitement fills me...

I can only put up tabletop trees this year ~ Palmer is just too mischievous. November 1 is when mine will go up :dance:

hey y'all! i've been super busy today. we tidied up the house & then went outside & started. we cut the grass, weeded, trimmed, & all. it wasn't too hot today so it was tolerable outside, about 95.

hubby is in Buffalo now & will be home tomorrow around 12 or 1p.m.


gonna take daughter to my mamas now. i think she's gonna stay there tonight. i've gotta cook when i get back. we are having burgers. yum.

home from work early, my foot so sore I was limping. Not sure what is wrong, do not recall injuring it. I have the next few days off so hopefully feel better by the time I go back again.

My daughter (LittleCS) was excited that one of the girls at work got to go to Bronners so they talked for along time about how much fun that place is.

Going to drive my other daughter to work and then I am going to bed.

TS Isaac is supposed to hit us around Tuesday so yesterday I stocked up on non-perishable foods for my dog and me (plus 24 pack of bottled water). I have to go back to the store to get a multivitamin that I forgot yesterday. And I'm feeling crappy. BOO!!!

On the plus side, yesterday I went and visited this great store called LifeWay Christian Store. I think I have a new favorite place!!


This morning while walking Missy, I noticed it felt a smidge cool out with little bits of wind blowing. YAY!!!

I hope that Isaac doesn't hit your area hard and that you are better soon! How cool that you found a new favorite place. I'm glad you got to go out with Missy and enjoy the cooler weather ~ I bet she enjoyed it, too! Take care, Kimothy, and keep us posted on how you are faring during the upcoming storm!

I went to bed super early last night and slept a whole lot. I better have some energy for today!

Good morning Christmas family !!

Just sitting here contemplating having another cup of coffee. Not much going on..Hermione is asleep beside me. You should all see her now......She is not that little baby we brought home in January any longer but she is is still my sweet little girl and the youngest !! She is completely black in color and her coat ranges from wavy to curly to straight all over !! She is not what you would think of when mentioning a half Bloodhound/ half Golden Retriever....!!! I don't know where the solid black coat comes from but it is pat of my Hermione and I could not love her more !!

Pretty badly aching joints today....The thing is (and it is weird) is that as far as ibuprofen or Tylenol or any drug like that ........I cannot take them by themselves because if I do I get severe asthma....if they are in something else I can tolerate them fine........Go figure that I would have yet another oddity !

I hope all have a great Sunday. I finally downloaded Opera and have Opera Turbo going right now as I cannot view YouTube videos here on site unless I use Opera. I don't know....Computers and browsers.....UGH. Have a great Christmassy day everyone xoxx

Good morning, Christmas friends. I am on my first cup of coffee. I had to give it up during chemo because it made me nauseous, but now I can handle a little at a time. During chemo, I could eat ice cream, even though I am lactose intolerant. Not sure if that will last! Hubby and I are going out to breakfast in a bit with his sister and BIL. Then it will be back home and a quick trip to the classroom. I have to make sure lesson plans are set aside for Tuesday when I return to the doctor to see about when the stitches can come out and to see the radiation oncologist for the first time. I cannot believe how much better I feel. I know that a lot of it has to do with the prayers and kind thoughts from my friends here at MMC. In addition, the "Myer's Cocktail" really delivered the extra energy I needed. I am truly amazed at how my body has reacted this time! SO, if any of you need an extra energy boost, PM me and I will let you know all I can. I am a firm believer now!!!

Well, I ended up making brownies. I looked in my cabinet and saw I had 3 boxes of brownies, so I made one box. I am going go make a brownies triffle and take that to work tonight. It was one of co-worker's birthday's on Friday and I missed it, so I am going to take that in for her and surprise her.

Umm, My Birthday was in May and I didn't get a brownie triffle. :lol:

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is a hot one here today. I have been taking my pain pills at full strength ~ seems to be helping. They make me so tired and restless at night. On the one hand I can't keep my eyes open and on the other I can't sleep. I am sitting here, yawning almost non-stop and I have to work in a few minutes. Ugh! It is going to be a long afternoon ~ but I shall listen to Christmas music and it will be an enjoyable one!
