We will be busy tomorrow, our local orchard opens for the season we will be heading there for cider doughnuts checking out their new decorations and buying some apples, then we will be going around the town wide tag sale to see if we can find some elusive Christmas or Halloween decor.

Just finished making a batch of marshmallows for smores this weekend. Ran out of unflavoured gelatin so used a box of strawberry jello. It tastes wonderful and beat up really nice. Will see in the morning if it set like it should.

Good Morning Christmas Pals,

The weather is warm and sunny here in NJ. I can't believe we have reached September already. Of course I am not complaining. Before long I will be decking the halls and trimming the tree. Thanks Meceka for keeping the countdown going. I am so excited to know we are only 2 weeks away from the 100 day mark. I was at the dollar store yesterday, and they are starting to put out their Christmas decorations!!! The over the door wreath hangers, wreaths, and some Christmas picks to decorate the wreaths. Didn't matter to me that it was only a few things, I was excited just the same. Well, I hope everyone is having a Super Saturday and a WONDERFUL Weekend.

Wouldn't it be nice if fall weather came automatically once we hit September? :cold:

Saturday afternoon hello ... I'm glad it's a three-day weekend, 'cause I've got Mr.'s virus and will need a few days to fight it off! Just a scratchy throat and tired feeling so far, so I will bomb it with honey and lemon juice in various forms. Otherwise, no particular plans, except maybe work on our Christmas DVDs and relax with some crochet.

One of my neighbors always has pumpkins growing in the front yard. I think the house is now 2 apartments and no one appears to pick these pumpkins. Just checked it out and one is rotting! SO sad... I wish I could pick those adorable orange guys!

Tuesday and Wednesday it's supposed to be 90 here. Then if we can make it to Friday we get a break with a high of 78.
