On the west side of Indianapolis they got about 7 inches over the last 2 days. On the east side we got less than an inch. That's just been our luck all summer.

It's still extremely humid here too. In fact, according to my weather bug, it's 100% right now.

Ew, Yuck!!! Humidity can take a hike!

I hope we all get some rain and a much needed COOL DOWN........I know you told me the forecast for Fall was above average but I am hoping and PRAYING it does not come true !! I just want the weather to be "normal" for the season......Not sure that can even happen any more ! xo

Good morning, Christmas Family !

Happy Labor Day !

Getting ready to head down the hall to work and just wanted to stop in. I sure hope I have plenty to type today.....If not, I will make it up on the weekend.......

My foot is KILLING ME !! My left third toe is swollen to twice its size, is warm and erythematous....Anyone know what that sounds like ?? I self-diagnosed it as psoriatic arthritis but I don't know. I just know it HURTS like the bee-jeebers. I can't even bend it because if I do it is agony.

Anyway, Christmas is surely coming and that makes everything right !! I can't wait to put up my tree in just two months !! Plus decorating my sister's tree is the highlight of the Season for me !!

Solice and Elf Bazaar - I adopted both of you so you can come and see all the pretty Christmas things in the shops here as they come in. I know you would love it here but your countries are beautiful as well. Norway is so gorgeous and England, well, I have always been an anglophile. If I were a billionaire I would fly both you and your families to America and put you up in the Plaza hotel from now until Christmas with all the money you needed to really enjoy yourselves. Wouldn't that be fun ?? After all, we do have Seawaters and her Lear Jet so I am sure If I asked really nice she may fly you in !

That sounds absolutely fab thankyou!!. My own Christmas preparations are trundling along nicely. I have planned out what to buy for who and I know where the tree is going in the lounge in our new home, i do need to get on top of the decorating next though the lounge totally needs painting before i can put a tree up!

Good evening! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Most of us still have one day left and that makes me smile!

What day everyone do today? I spent the day washing and folding clothes and spending time with the kids. It's amazing the memories you can make, just doing small things with them.

Not much going on here right now. DS has been in bed for almost a half an hour already - he's teething again and he's been so fussy lately. Last night, he slept 12 hours, poor little guy. Hopefully he with sleep well again tonight and feel well tomorrow.

Well, off to read some more of the posts, then spend some time with hubby. Talk to you all later!

Goodnight everyone - going to spend time with DH - he may get called into work, but hoping he doesn't. There is a very bad fire right now - a 3rd alarm and if it gets to a 4th alarm, he'll have to go. If it gets that bad, it's VERY bad, but it's already really bad right now - 3 houses are involved and one of the houses partially collapsed. He works in the morning, so they will try to not call them in, but will if they have to. Praying for the families involved and the firefighters that are there fighting the fire - it always makes me worry, even though I try not to think about it!
