Good evening! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Most of us still have one day left and that makes me smile!

What day everyone do today? I spent the day washing and folding clothes and spending time with the kids. It's amazing the memories you can make, just doing small things with them.

Not much going on here right now. DS has been in bed for almost a half an hour already - he's teething again and he's been so fussy lately. Last night, he slept 12 hours, poor little guy. Hopefully he with sleep well again tonight and feel well tomorrow.

Well, off to read some more of the posts, then spend some time with hubby. Talk to you all later!

Saturday afternoon hello ... I'm glad it's a three-day weekend, 'cause I've got Mr.'s virus and will need a few days to fight it off! Just a scratchy throat and tired feeling so far, so I will bomb it with honey and lemon juice in various forms. Otherwise, no particular plans, except maybe work on our Christmas DVDs and relax with some crochet.

Goodnight everyone - going to spend time with DH - he may get called into work, but hoping he doesn't. There is a very bad fire right now - a 3rd alarm and if it gets to a 4th alarm, he'll have to go. If it gets that bad, it's VERY bad, but it's already really bad right now - 3 houses are involved and one of the houses partially collapsed. He works in the morning, so they will try to not call them in, but will if they have to. Praying for the families involved and the firefighters that are there fighting the fire - it always makes me worry, even though I try not to think about it!

Good morning, MMC! How is everyone? I am well. Just doing some wash and spending time with my little ones.

Yesterday here was so busy - I was going to stop in via my iPhone, then I never even got a chance to do that. We had a "End of summer party/picnic". DH and I spent the day cleaning and cooking. Between doing that and keeping the kids entertained, we were very busy. The end result was a lot of fun though and the kids had a wonderful time as well.

Labor Day is my holiday off, so I will be off tonight, but of course will work tomorrow night. That is how my holiday's work (I am off the night before the holiday). DH works the holiday - it doesn't matter if he works 4 holidays in a row, he has to work. He has to work every 4 days, it is just how the holidays fall. It stinks, but that is how it works. My parents, sister, and her boyfriend are coming in for a small picnic tomorrow, that way the kids and I aren't by ourselves.

Well, I hope everyone is well and having a great holiday weekend. We are here! I am going to go stick another load of wash in and try to start getting caught up on the Countdown. I am a few days behind now. God Bless and stay safe!

I forgot to tell you guys, I decorated for fall yesterday, but just in the house. I will wait for the outside of the house for two weeks or so yet - the pumpkins and such won't make it until Thanksgiving, with the cold if I do it too earlier.

I guess since I haven't been on the Countdown either since August (that I can remember), welcome to the 'bers everyone! We're getting so much closer! I can't wait! :smile:

Good morning, MMC!

Made and CM3's allergy woes have traveled North ~ I am miserable today! I have tomatoes to prep, though, and I am also considering making jalapeno jelly. The recipe seems easy, but I have never made jelly before. If time permits, I would like to work a few hours. I am trying to get it set up so I have one entire day free as I need to go get some furniture that is going to be put on consignment at the store. It is 5 foot plus sideboard/buffet ~ made of solid wood. It is going to be a job and half to get it transported. It is gorgeous! I would love to keep it, but my house is way too small. There is a matching china cabinet, too, but I didn't have the money with me to buy that piece. Hopefully it will still be there later this month ~ if so, it will be mine!

Well, I am off to get some work done. I am well on my way to a 6th cup of coffee ~ I hope it does its job and keeps me going!

With the way this summer has gone, it shouldn't surprise me that the leftovers from a hurricane could head my way but completely fall apart before it reached my side of town.

Bing bing, we got our christmas freight coming in!!! I noticed we got our first shipment today, which consists of lights and wire reindeer

Good afternoon, MMC!

I have a pot of tomatoes, onions, garlic and a splash or two EVOO cooking down ~ smells yummy! I am hoping it will make a good base for cream of tomato soup, one of my favorite soups of all time. I still have a basket of cherry tomatoes to prep for drying. The first batch I did turned out yummy! I think the jalapeno jelly will have to wait until tomorrow, though. Time is going by fast and I haven't accomplished nearly what I wanted to yet.

Its the Sears Wish Book. I believe Canada only. You can order a copy at the sears website. Thats what I did!

Good evening, Christmas family

Worked for just a little today and then put my Fall decorations out in the living room !! It is so great to have all the decorations back again...Now if it would just COOL OFF...

I plan to try and make it an early day tomorrow and I am hoping there will be enough work...I am so sleepy but I wanted to check in before I went to bed....

We didn't get nearly the amount of rain we were supposed to ........It is still so hot and muggy...UGH

On the west side of Indianapolis they got about 7 inches over the last 2 days. On the east side we got less than an inch. That's just been our luck all summer.

It's still extremely humid here too. In fact, according to my weather bug, it's 100% right now.
