Feeling better after a long talk with my aunt. It's a long story, but next spring we should finally be able to lay my dad's ashes to rest, and it's a relief to both of us. Things finally seem to be working out the way they should. Now I can relax some before going in to work tomorrow.

Thanks, Solice!! I do love it. I'm actually from Wisconsin, but haven't lived there for 10 years. I missed it! Harlowe has only been in snow a few times here, in the mountains & one crazy day where we got 2 inches in the city =) Melted by the end of the day, though. Ha!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy with a high of 87 today. I'm hoping to put all of the drama from yesterday behind me and get some stuff done today. I think my first goal is to head to the grocery store and get some pumpkin spice coffee creamer. Then it will be home to put up my fall decorations. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

How are you guys today?

I am good & ready for the weekend!!

...And for Fall! I just finished reading the Fall editions of Midwest Living & Country Sampler, and they really put me in the mood. Such pretty pictures & great articles about Autumn & Halloween events. Such an exciting time!

My friends & I are going to the annual Harvest Festival this weekend. There are so many beautiful things there, and yummy samples of homemade jams, cider, jerky, dips, soups, chocolates, etc.! Mmmm!
We always spend way too much money, but have lots of fun doing so!

What's new with all of you? Nothing new here. Today is my my day off, so I don't go back to work until tomorrow night.

A lovely warm day here. I love this time of the year, warm in the day and nice cool nights.

My daughter just signed up for flight lessons, starts next Wednesday. She is so excited, this is something she has wanted to do since she was 15.

My day off ended up working for a few hours anyway. Oh well, I could use the hours. Fall fair is on in Tavistock so we expect it to be busy the next few days. Now that the transformer is fixed again we hope the power will stay on for the duration.

Hope you all are having a great day! Now I have to go and bake 50 more cupcakes.

Sometimes I hate the MBTA. Mr.'s train was delayed by TWO disabled trains in front of it. The train he was on had to take on ALL the passengers and push the two disabled trains ahead of it. So he won't get to come home before he goes to look after his dad tonight---he'll get home after I'm asleep. Somebody give the MBTA some reliable locomotives, please ...
