Long day today and I did not do a bit of work ~ hung out with my cousin and wandered around grocery stores looking at things. My energy is gone ~ I hope I am not coming down with anything. Anyhow, I have to make dinner so I will see y'all tomorrow.

Tomorrow I am walking 32 km in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers I am doing the one day walk ... Although many people do the 2 day event... I raised 1,300 dollars

I may come with many blisters... But I feel good about doing it ....pretty sure I didn't train enough ... Ack

Hi everyone. Thank you for your prayers for my uncle's dog. The poor little guy isn't doing very well. The vets believe if they try to operate today that he will bleed out. They have to try a few things to see if they can get his levels to improve before they attempt surgery. On the bright side, he is doing great on the outside! He is bright, happy, and very playful. I hope that with the medication that he can be well enough for the surgery and that it is a success.

I'll keep you all updated!

i have this same issue very often.

We sure miss her, but we understand how time and life get in the way, especially with those sweet grandbabies of hers! By the way, have you noticed how young she looks to have grandkids?

Friday hello ... back at work, luckily it's been a slow day so far, 'cause I'm still trying to work the last of the bug out of my system. And we get free pizza today for lunch because the new building owner's contractor messed up this week and set off the sprinkler system on the second floor, setting off the fire alarm and forcing our office on the fourth floor to evacuate for a couple hours. So, to make up for it, they're sending in pizzas for our lunch today. And I can enjoy this weekend instead of being sick in bed!



We need some "elves with attitude" software to zap any attackers ... it could turn everything on the attacker's computer red and green and replace all their MP3s with Christmas music ...

that would be awesome. HACK THE HACKERS!!!!

Good morning! Happy Friday everybody! Like many others, our temps are going down for the weekend! Supposed to have a high of 70º tomorrow & 72º on Sunday, but the # that gets me is the low for Sunday night....49...FORTY NINE!!! I'm not sure that I'm ready to see temps starting with the number 4 just yet!!! I want to enjoy the 50 somethings 1st! BUT I will drink my morning coffee & enjoy the brisk air!!!!

I hope you all have a fun weekend planned! I need to try to get back on here over the weekend (we are heading to the lake) b/c it's so hard to get caught up on Monday w/ you bunch of jabber boxes if I don't. Hee hee!

Good Friday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I've been swamped here at work, so I haven't had a chance to really check in this morning.

I went for another follow-up with the cardiologist yesterday (all is well), and while I was there he mentioned that St. Joseph's Hospital is planning another TV commercial and he recommended me for the commercial...LOL! He said they should be calling me soon. I assume it's because I'm younger than most of his heart attack patients. He's also still impressed that I'm a mayor. Haha!

Dang, now I gotta get my eyebrows plucked!

Good day, everyone! How are all of you? I am well, just getting ready to take a quick, afternoon nap, as I was called to do a 12 hour shift for tonight. Work is VERY busy and I'm hoping I don't get stuck there tomorrow morning, working longer.

What is new with everyone? I tried to get caught up on the some of the posts, but I just didn't make it to far.

Well a storm is rolling through right now. They were saying 50 mph winds, but I think (hope) the worst of it may have missed us. It got windy for a few minutes, we had a little thunder/lightening but now it's just raining. I have candles lit all over the house, just incase. So cozy....LOVE IT!!! (as long as the storms don't get too bad...they say more to come tonight!)

I found this on Pinterest today. I could just move right into this house/kitchen right now. LOVE IT!!!! Do you know how fun this would be to decorate for Christmas?!?!

What do you pay for Pumpkins in US?
I found one in a grocery store here yesterday to 7,50 dollars pr kilo!
Isn't that expensive?
But I guess the Pumpkins have travelled a long way...

It depends on where you go around here, one farm charges by the pound, another charges certain amount by the pumpkin.

i have this same issue very often.

If your using a computer that you can stay signed in on instead of logging out everytime, I would suggest doing that. It seems to help out a lot.

I've seen that a few times on the Countdown today.

Imagine a giant digital scrapbook.

You can search other people's "boards" for pictures, craft ideas, recipes, and things like that. Then when you find something you like, you can "pin it" to your boards for future reference.

Does that make sense?
