Good Sunday morning all. In-laws are over, I'm hiding. Haha. Yesterday and today have been fall days! 60's and gloomy. It is AWESOME! Saw Christmas cards at Walmart yesterday as well. Can't believe how close it is to the season. But then the season NEVER ends for all of us! My friend that loves Christmas has found radio stations that have been playing Christmas music. People are complaining that the station is doing that. What is wrong with people! Well better get going lol. Have a great day

The same thing happened to my husband. We have computers that sit side by side, and his would take him to the results page and mine would play the graphics! Weird!

The Google Doole was cool!! But I couldn't get it to work for me. It just kept taking me to google results for Star Trek..Still, it was neat! cheesy

Love those guys! We saw them live in Boston twice. I bought their set of both Christmas CDs plus the DVD of the show xmas365 was watching (with a little extra footage). So I'm watching that show a few times a year now!

My 8 year old son (one of them) had ear tube surgery this morning...

All went well! =] It's so good to be done with it...
I hate to watch the kids when they got anaesthetic and "sleep in"...

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day here!!!! It's looking like we won't even break 70 degree's!!! I'm so happy!! Now if would just stay this way and those upper 80's in the forecast disappear. I have some errands to run this morning and then I have some relatives coming in from PA this afternoon. I missed posting yesterday. Oops! This morning, I was awoken by some loud thunder outside my window. The forecast has it hanging around all day. I honestly don't mind that. Plans for the weekend? Kim and I may head to the Rideau Centre to see if Sears has any deals left over. They are going out of business and everything should be about 40-60% off.

Tomorrow, I have a practice. Then, I will return home with a couple hours to spare, to watch the Packers season opener vs. the 49ers. It's been about eight long months, but Green Bay Packers football has returned! Hooray! It will be great to have my Sundays planned, once again. Football, football, football!

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Following this weekend, I will return to work and making some decent money - at least for a couple months. I'm excited! Have a great Saturday everyone!

Hello World!!!!!!!!

I think (think being the operative term here) that the worst may be over and life will start to return slightly to normal now. This summer has been unreal for work. This is the first weekend I've had off in what seems like forever! We are still missing staff members and I'm still getting home about 7pm after trying to catch up on stuff for which there just isn't enough time in the day to do but wedding season is slowing down now and will only peak again briefly at Christmas before settling down again until Easter when we get to do it all again...........yay!!!!!!!

So, let me bring you up to speed with what's been happening. Bruce finishes his Disneyland Paris contract on Sept 21st. He was offered a full time job but said no as he wants to finish his degree. That said, he's planning on returning at Christmas to work for a couple of weeks. Can't say I'm hugely thrilled at the prospect. He's suggested that we go over and spend Christmas there so I started investigating. From what I've seen, it's going to cost at least £2000 ($3200 approx.) for 4 nights!!!!!!!!!!!! This includes transport but not the kennelling of the hounds because obviously we can't take them with us. So............not going to happen.

Our local amateur dramatic group is putting on The Wizard of Oz at Christmas and I'm stage managing it so that should be fun. Rehearsals have started and I'm trying to persuade them to let Dorothy wear plaid instead of a plain old boring blue pinafore dress!!!!! It can be blue plaid if they're fussy!!!!

How cool!! Congrats! Wish I could come see it. One of my faves.

Maureen, I went to a Harvest Festival yesterday & bought a necklace that has a Wizard Of Oz double-sided charm on it. One side says "Good Witch" & the other "Bad Witch". I'll switch it up depending on my mood!

Other than that, I'm getting over a bad cold (not as bad, obviously, as Sandy's Man Flu which he had at the same time!) and am barking worse than the dogs. Talking of whom, are both fine. Jacob took a chunk out of one of his front pads so was looking resplendent in an old sock held on with electrical tape until it healed. Didn't help his street cred. one bit!!!! :lol:

Opened all windows in our apartment this morning. It is 74 right and will be 82 today. Burned a glade maple pumpkin scented oil candle. Have done some fall cleaning and organizing and then working on my Christmas planner in a bit. It is almost 100 days til Christmas!!!
