HI the 1st time i made it... i put milk in it. lol (easy seem am irish and blonde ) 2nd time it was worst with no milk... but seemly i checked on the internet. that you have to boil kettle and leave it for a few minutes then pour the water in and dont stir it just leave it alone for 2 minutes.i done this and now i can drink away at it without milk lol.. it does not seem bitter any more

Thanks, I'll try that ... it tends to taste bitter and "green." Maybe it would taste a little better with honey and lemon instead of sugar. Definitely no milk!!

Oh man! I thought about a glass of wine tonight, but I didn't have one open & didn't feel like opening one! I should have gone for a wine in my Christmas glass! What was I thinking!?

Well, the good news is my brother/sil made it home safe & sound. They BUZZED over the top of Mom & Dads house...my sisters & I were there sitting on the deck, hammering out final details for my brothers memorial bike ride Saturday when he flew over...I thought my 1 sis was going to have the big one! She thinks she could have reached up & grabbed his plane! Lol! It was LOUD! He got yelled at when he arrived! ;-) And he'll do it again the next time!

As for my Buster - well the doc thinks his lens fell & he is developing glaucoma. She feels eventually his eye will have to come out. She says we can try medicine/drops 1st & see how it does but she feels eventually it will get too painful for him. Right now it doesn't seem to bother him at all. OR she said we can go to another vet to get a pressure test done (they don't have the ability to do that at my vet office) & they will maybe know where to go from there. But she feels his pressure is low now b/c it doesn't bother him. BUT if it does start to bother him, they can do another pressure test & be able to see how much it has progressed. OR I can go to an opthamologist. She said they might have a more specific treatment, rather than general meds. One is an hour away, another is 2 hours away. EEK! How far do you go?? He's 16 years old!!! I can't imagine taking out his eye at 16...seems like a lot for a dog his age to go through. Ugh! I hate it. He is on an antibiotic & a steroid right now. I keep looking at him hoping it will just go away! I know better, but.... I just hate it!!! What a week it's been!!!!

I'm heading to bed shortly, so I'll say good night! Sweet dreams!!!

((((Holiday and Buster)))) - I understand exactly where you are. It is so hard to know how to call it when an old one is sick. I am with you, I cannot imagine taking his eye out....Poor baby. I wish I could help the poor baby. When my Wish first got sick, they diagnosed him as having a brain tumor. Now, I am NOT a doctor but I could not accept that it was a brain tumor. My "gut" feeling kept telling me it was not a tumor. For one thing, he would have these "attacks" where he was all wobly and eventually he would come out of it but he NEVER lost consciousness or acted like he didn't know us. That is what made me suspicious about it not being a tumor. I talked to the senior vet at the practice and he said it sounded like a heart problem. Lo and behold after an EKG, there was a subtle abnormality in Wish's QT segment. He was started on medication for his heart and except for an attack of congestive failure 3 months ago, he has been fine. I will pray for Buster AND if it is okay, I am adding him to the furbaby (((HUGS))) that I post xo Sorry this was so long xo

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

It works! I use it every time I get leg cramps, and the cramps are gone ASAP. (Plus, I like pickle juice - cheesy )

They (whoever they are) say pickle juice is better at replacing electrolytes than Gatorade. I like pickle juice also.

Hey Gang ... its been a while.. hope everyone is doing great!!!

Stopped in our local Walmart and out in the lawn and garden section they have Christmas Trees for sale and some lights and decorations on the selves too. not much longer now!!!

Have a great day!

Nice to see you on here.

What a very busy weeks it's been! I am trying to enjoy a 3 day weekend, and my house is a mess...sometimes trying to get everything in order makes things even worse!lol We need to have a major garage sale I think! The weather is nice...not too hot but very warm maybe 80F in about a month the leaves should start turning..I am tyring to get everything in order by the time brandi gets home from class. I hope everyone is having a great day!!! Just one week left until Fall officially arrives!

When the second child comes and they both are mobile, your house will always seem to be a mess. cheesy

Good evening,

Sitting here losing a few brain cells and IQ points watching "The Fred Show" on Nickelodeon, wow, this is bad, but the kids love it. Busy day at work, just one more day until a day off, I need a day off badly, make that a week off, I feel so burnt out right now. It's looking very unlikely that the hockey season will start on time, due to labor unrest. First the Red Sox stink, and now this. I hope the Bengals will have a good season or the sports fan in me will be very depressed.

Have a good night!!!

Oh no. That show is banned in my apartment. I'll watch ICarly or Victorious but I will not listen to that voice.
