Well it's Monday. What a lousy day of football yesterday for me. The Ravens and the Cowboys lost, and the Steelers won. Doesn't get much worse than that. Although the Patriots and the Redskins lost too, so that makes it a little bearable.

Good monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm expecting a quiet day today. Hopefully, my brother will get my lawn mower back to me and I can cut my grass this afternoon.

Elizabeth spent the whole weekend at Nutcracker rehersals, and had her costume fitting yesterday afternoon. She's so excited! Her birthday is in November, and she's already distributed her wish list...LOL. She wants a tablet computer. I haven't had the nerve to order one for myself, but I guess I'll get one for my little honeybee.

Jacob and I also setup the trail camera yesterday, so I hope we'll have so more cool pix soon.

I just read his blog - I am so excited!!!! DH works 6:30 to 5 that day and I work that weekend, so I will only be popping in and out, because I will work that night too, but I will still be stopping in. I wouldn't miss it. I did think about taking that night off, but I would rather save one of my holidays/vacation days for around Christmas/New Year. :dance:

zzzz wait what was I saying? hah. I need a cup of Carl's coffee! Another Monday morning. As Charlie Brown would say "Good Grief!". Its a busy morning at work! Had a good weekend though. We bought a new fridge and its being delivered on Saturday. Our old one is going down hill. Mom will be coming down for Thanksgiving next month and MAYBE my Sister. Not much else new. Wishing it was Friday! This weekend my fall/halloween stuff comes out! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, MMC! How is everyone? I am well. Just sitting here drinking a cup of pumpkin spice coffee and enjoying some quiet time. I just laid the baby down for a nap and DH and EA are out running some errands.

Nothing much going on. I do have to eventually do some work around here. I have pretty everything cleaned up from yesterday, except I have to find a spot for all of EA's new toys and I have a lot of wash to do, again. Plus, with us going camping for a few days, that put us behind on the wash too.

Looking foward to going back to work tonight (not!)...it's always so hard to go back after sleeping normal for a few days, but hey, I shouldn't complain. I should be glad I have a job.

Well, I am off to read some more of the posts for a little bit, then I am off to clean a little bit. Talk to you all a little later on. Make it a great day and keep smiling! :grin:

That's a good idea. My mom and dad would probably have room for some. His parents not so much. I think his mom and dad kept EVERY toy of his and his sister, now she gets it for my kids to play with it, then sometimes my kids want to bring it home. When I don't want them to, my kids throw a fit, then my in-laws get mad at me and force those toys on me too. It makes me soooo mad sometimes...anyway My rant! :grin:

Tomorrow I am walking 32 km in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers I am doing the one day walk ... Although many people do the 2 day event... I raised 1,300 dollars

Here is my shirt with all the generous people who donated I put my moms name on it because she is with me in spirit ...

Happy Monday morning all. I can't believe we're double digits for both the season and the day. It really is just around the corner and that makes Monday seem a little less bad.

It's starting to feel like Fall here in Denver. Today is a high of 64 and overcast. I love it. I may have to try and step out a little later to grab a pumpkin spice. Hope everyone is doing well and have a Merry Day!laying:

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm here at Bernie's, running the cash register and drinking coffee...ahhh!

It'll only be a half-day today; the doctor still has me on light duty. I had to go back to the emergency room Thursday in Savannah. I was having some discomfort, and I've recently gotten nervous about chest pains, for some reason :-D. Anyway, I had another procedure, but now we're certain that my heart is doing great! It was just some indigestion due to the change in my diet, and all the medicine I'm taking now...thank the Lord!

So, I'm a happy camper again! Elizabeth is off to her first rehersal for the Nutcracker ballet. She has to go every Saturday and Sunday from now until Thanksgiving. We're so very proud of her!

Glad to hear your trip to the ER turned out to be nothing serious!!!

This past week has been gorgeous, weather-wise. The temps have had a bit of a cool in the morning and by the afternoon, it's hot but not deadly like usual. Next week is supposed to be just as nice (maybe a few rain showers though) and I'm wondering if I should bring out my slow cooker now, or wait for a few weeks.

Missy and I are getting along better and better. We're on more of a schedule (which this mama likes!) and she's understanding me more. Also, I have HER to thank for my weight loss! I've been walking more and playing with her and I'm 1 lb. away from my goal weight--YAY!!!

Anyway, it's Saturday and I want to get this day going. I have groceries to get and I plan on going to the mall because Bath & Body Works is having a HUGE sale on Fall items--YAY AGAIN!! Also, I need new work clothes since all of my pants feel like potato sacks haha!

Congrats on the weight loss!!! What a great problem to have - pants are too big! I made a Corn "n" Spicy Pepper Chowder in the crock pot on Saturday. Mmmm - I love soups/crock pots this time of year when the weather is getting chillier!!!! :smile:

Good morning MMC!

I hope you all had a great weekend. The Bike For Mike event went really well! It was a beautiful day! The temps started out at 43º on our drive to the event, & worked its way up to mid 70's, sunny & gorgeous! Great day for a bike ride. The coffee tasted so good in the morning! Lol! I think eveyone had a great time & we don't have all the numbers in yet, but we should have about $2000.00 to put towards the scholarship. Not bad for the 1st year! I am so tired today though! We had to be up at 4:15 on Saturday morning. I was up til midnight Friday night. There was a music fest Saturday night in the park accross the road from our house, so we had a bonfire. I was up til 2:45am Saturday night, then we had mass for Mike Sunday morning, chicken dinners at my parents for lunch, then off to the lake we went. I am supposed to be off work tomorrow (Mikes birthday) so maybe somewhere along the line I can catch up on a little sleep! HA!
