I have also been taking care of my neighbors dogs & house while they're away.

Adrian got back today from a business trip out of town. It's nice to have him home.

How are you all? Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers!!

I will be around again on a regular basis later on this week once all quiets down a bit.

I've been seeing so much Christmas in the stores! So beautiful!! But, I am way behind the times & don't have a smart phone, otherwise I'd be snapping pictures like crazy.

Today I made fresh salsa with cilantro that was so fresh and fragrant. An aide at school had brought in lots of tomatoes and so had the cafeteria lady. I just love fresh, homegrown tomatoes. Tonight we are having hamburgers grilled outside. With those fresh tomatoes, I could eat just a tomato sandwich. Why are we grilling outside? Because it is still hot here! Can you tell by my whining that I do not like hot weather? LOL

Guess what? I drove across the state to go to my first ever Hobby Lobby store this weekend. WOW, that place was huge, it had everything under the sun in there. I got to say, I was totally impressed with that store. It was sort of a Michaels, Joanne Fabrics, AC Moore and Kirklands all rolled up into one store...

The wife loved the place and so did I.... I have to thank all of you, who were talkng about the place, here at MMC, that peaked my intrest... Thank you! We ended up buying some Halloween and Christmas decorations....

I also stopped this weekend at a local farm stand and we purchased our first little Jack-o-Lanterns of the season, we also got some gourds and all sorts of little pumpkins and such to start decorating our front porch for Fall/ Halloween...

We took those home and then we were in the festive spirit so we went to another store to buy a bunch of Halloween decorations. The store also had Christmas decorations out - woo hoo!!

When we got home, apparently we got my dad in the spirit too, because he put out a bunch of our decorations from last year while we were gone :]

In about 7 weeks we will be the exact same way - except putting up our Christmas decorations!!! That'll take us a whole weekend lol! We have so many boxes it is insane.

Well, it's been a pain int he butt because a street near us has been clsoed for roadwork so we took an alley to get through... and who was laying by a trash can? A little outdoor reindeer! She just needs some new lights (and a parner) and she'll be good as new! Hooray!!

I know, right ?? I never would have known about Hobby Lobby except for MMC !!! That's where we got our tree this year !! It is a 7.5' Snow Tree Pine and I cant wait to decorate it !! ox

Long day, the movie was cute very predictable. Indoor Halloween decorations are up, will do outside stuff later this week. Bengals won, so far so good, they will help me keep my mind off of the NHL lockout.

Good morning mmc friends
Monday again and the 1st day of oct
As usual its cold her this morning and gives rain today. so whats new lol
Have a clothing pallets due in today from the shopping channel. so that is my day sorted. you wood think it wood be easy
Have a meeting tonight to discuss the lights for the town at christmas. we go the polices ok to close the town on the saturday from 12 o clock. and ones with the marquee says it takes 2 hours to set up. we decided on a marquee for the music as come december its bes really cold sometimes in the zero,s temperatures
LOL just opened the blinds her and there was a trailer attached to my car.. it belongs to one of my neigbours. went down to him and he was just up. some of the kids must have done it during the night for a joke lol
Right time i was dressed . so you all have a nice monday take care and talk soon
