Hey, count me in.... I've been to Norway once before... It is absolutely beautiful there and the people are so friendly!

If I was offered a choice to go anywheres in the world again, Norway, Denmark and Germany would be at the top of my list; and as they say; "Been there, done that", and I want to go back!

Hubby and I stopped at Bed, Bath, and Beyond when we were in Redding. We picked up some Keurig K-Cups. One is called Rocket Fuel! I think that might give a jumpstart to your day!

That must be a special blend, to kick start those Monday mornings!!! lol

Good afternoon,

Last night was a great date night with the wifey, Fright Fest At Six Flags was kind of disappointing, you have to pay extra to see the "scary" stuff so we didn't see that, but the roller coasters were great. It was a nice break from the kids for a night, we missed them like crazy though. Watching the Bengals game now, pretty lackluster first half for both teams. It is supposed to get cold and rainy later,getting cloudy and darker now. I finally took the AC out of the window, and put the storm window in the screen door. Winter is slowly coming.

Good morning everyone. Having a quiet weekend, but I'm surprising my wife with a trip away next weekend when we're both off work. A belated birthday pressie as we never got to celebrate with moving house, so looking forward to that. Also hoping to see some Christmas stores opening soon.

As an afterthought here, I'm going to amend my previous post, I also have plans to go North of the Border (in my near future), to drive up into Canada and do some site seeing. I want to go up thru Niagra Falls and go North a bit and then turn East and head for the coast... But, not sure what points of intrest could be in a possible route like that and I am interested in getting some tips and also places of intrest....

And in respect for my friend Shellie12, I would also like to visit Ireland one day to follow my family footsteps/ roots back home.... I am part Irish from my great Grandmother (her maiden name was McLean) and would like to see the country where her parents came from....

Holy freezeyourbunsoff, it's cold! It's 43 degree outside! Are you kidding me? It's the 7th of October! But hey, there is nothing...nothing like drinking coffee by the fireplace...reading about Christmas.

Today is a cleaning/cooking kinda day. I have a big deadline at work this week, but it's family day and my family comes first.

the smell of turkey fills the house. Started making the pumpkin cheese cake. Still have to make gravy and stuffing. Then it all goes in the fridge for tomorrows family Thanksgiving dinner at my brothers place. With so many coming and such a small kitchen we have to pre-cook everything.

I am enjoying my full day off, after church and teaching children's church I got to actually stay home for a change. Enjoying doing some cooking and baking. In between watching TV and doing a bit of work on the competition cake.

Today's challenge: I'm trying to QA our annual "Christmas clips" DVD, but because our TV is not digital, it won't display some of the menu elements correctly, so I can't tell what it will look like on a digital flat-screen TV ... y'know, we HAVE to get a digital TV before next year's production! I'll have to give the test DVD to Mr. and let him check it at his parents' house. They've got modern TVs!

Today has been all Christmas work so far, between trying to get the DVD to gel and crocheting on my Christmas afghan while I'm waiting for the computer to finish rendering and burning video.

Same here ~ I've watched only three movies the entire year on the television I have here in the house. I can't recall watching any episodic shows ~ we don't usually get them in the free previews.

Hi Solice !! Always nice to see you !! I myself have just finished working a a bit. I work at home as a medical transcriptionist and since I have no schedule, I work when I want !! So I just finished doing a few more dictations to get my line count up there !! xoxoxo
