Did anyone else from the Northeastern U.S. feel the earthquake about half an hour ago?? The whole house rumbled and shook as though there were a huge truck right outside the door going full throttle. It was stronger than the little rumble we felt over a year ago when there was an earthquake centered in Virginia. This one was centered in Maine.

It went for several seconds ... I didn't stop what I was working on, just wondered "what the heck? the only thing I've ever felt similar to that was that little earthquake last year ... COULDN'T be another earthquake." Then I checked the news. Mm-hm---another earthquake.

No damage that I know of, just literally shaken up.

I didn't feel it, I have 2 boys that make the house shake all the time. It would have felt normal to me. cheesy

You're probably right! One of the commenters on Boston.com said she thought here kids were jumping around upstairs. More to it than that here, though.

Just seem today that one of our sky movie channels movies 24 is changing to christmas 24 on the 3rd of nov.. am hoping some of the flms are different from last year so bring on the hot chocolate, the fire and the tree

It was a small one---our friends in California have been through earthquakes that shake things off the shelves and knock pictures off the walls. As long as we don't have any of those around here, I'm okay with it!
