To all of my friends in the northeast-

If you haven't been paying attention to Hurricane Sandy you might want to start. The recent model runs are moving westward and starting to come in line with the european model.

I just took a look at it and you were right, It does appear to be sort of heading/ coming up the east coast.

I just heard this tonight, a friend of ours went to psychic and they told her it was going to be bad. My wife is freaking out about it now. I told her not to believe it from the psychic. I just hope trick or treating won't be canceled for the 2nd year in a row for a weather related event. The kids deserve to celebrate Halloween this year after last years foot of snow.

yea, I would agree, that would be a real stinker for all the kids... Including us big kids as well... Well, I guess we will have to start keeping an eye on this thing and hope for the best!

The latest advisory has shifted back east from this afternoon. The storm is exploding right now though so it will be interesting to see what the models look like in the morning.

Hey guys! In Florida and loving it! The only worry we have is the tropical storm Sandy - they said it is a monster storm for this time of year and it could hit the FL coast or shift up the coast to the northeast states. If it hits here, it will be Friday. Pray for it to miss here!! I can't believe I am up at 4 AM but I went to bed early since it was a travel day and slept like a baby. Flight was good so thanks for your prayers! Guess I will ty going back to bed now. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck said "hi!" ;]

Today is the company fair and therefore it is very quiet in the office. However someone has to stay here and be ready for phone calls or Emails. That is my job for today.

I am sure SW got back to you I haven't finished catching up but it is an organization, a social club that - it also has a rich history as it was founded in the mid to late 1800's they do a lot of good in the communities they are in and like all things here in the US it also has a past where it excluded certain people but overall it should be stated that they are an asset where ever they are always doing good deeds and helping their neighbors.

Weather forecast says it should be snowing on the weekend! Today it is still warm (18c) but tomorrow and on saturday there will be a drop in temperature. Hopefully what they say is true, I am so ready for snow.

I cannot believe it, I have caught up!!! Well at least for right now.

I forgot to tell you all, the last two Sunday we held the services outside, once in a park called Cathedral Pines, it was a lovely service and last Sunday we went to South Haven County Park. I have to admit it was soooo nice, almost makes me wish we could do it all the time, but then I guess it wouldn't be special.

We haven't ironed out our plans for this weekend we may go up to the Catskill MT and do the Rip Van Winkle tour, it is a little past the "Prime" leaf peeping season but it is still beautiful, I love hiking in that area. We take Snickers she just loves hiking with us too.

I have pulled out my lights for outside and I am testing them so far so good! I still cannot believe in two months time it will be Christmas Eve, oh my where has the time gone.

The Elks are a fraternal organization that does charitable works. In "the old days," women could not join; but now we can. I have been a member for 10 years.

Sounds like a great organization. Thank you (and the rest of your organization) for doing charitable work. I think in our society it is so important that there are still people who care for others and try to help them.

Two Months!

Good morning everyone. Well, I try to wait until Halloween before I break out the Christmas music. But, it's two months from today until the big day, and we have a big cold front moving through, so it's going to be cool outside today (finally). I think this calls for some Christmas tunes...

2 months to go to Xmas Already !!
I celebrated the milestone with 30min of Xmas music with my coffee and breakfast.

Signs of shopping are slowly starting, despite this weekend will be focused on family events surrounding my sister's wedding.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! One more warm day here in central Indy before the rain moves in overnight and the bottom falls out on the thermometer. Not much going on here today. I have a few errands to run and then it will be back home to get some more cleaning done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Unhappily, the news stories this morning say the hurricane will be merging with an early winter storm from the West and arctic air from the north---and they're now giving the hurricane a 70% chance of hitting somewhere between Cape Hatteras and Cape Cod. One forecaster recalled that the "Perfect Storm" of 1991 caused millions of dollars in damage---he's calling this one "a billion-dollar storm." Another says that there's no modern precedent to compare this scenario with. They're beginning to make me seriously worry. I guess all we can do is stock up and batten down, and keep an eye on the forecasts. At least we have the weekend to prepare.

I called my mom last night. She's in the Smoky Mountains of NC (not far from Mgramsey) and she says the fall leaves are spectacular. She doesn't have a smart phone, so she can't send pictures right away, but she promised to take lots of pix with her camera for later. I can't wait to see them!

I don't have to work at the store this weekend, so I think I'll go to watch Elizabeth at the Nutcracker Ballet practice. She was showing me how she can dance on point (tip toes) last night. I have to say, my little girl is very graceful!
