Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot day here in central Indy with a high of 81 degree's. Boo!! I want my cold weather back. At least I don't have wait long. A major cold front is going to come through on friday. I don't have much on the agenda for today. Just more cleaning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

It is going to be a nice couple of days ~ enjoy!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, it's crazy here at work today. Doggone engineering consultants for the power companies are trying to prove that they are needed, so they force me into revision after revision. Grrr.

My mom has decided to visit the Smoky Mountains by herself since no one else can take to go with her. I don't usually mind her going alone; her place is in a great area, and she's still very capable and independent, but she's getting over a recent shoulder surgery. She saw her doctor this morning, and he released her to drive and told her a trip like this was ok, so who am I to try to stop her? I'm just jealous that I can't go, too!

I always worried about my dad when he went off on his own ~ even if it was just to town for church, so I know how you are feeling. I will keep your mom in my prayers!

I cannot believe it, I have caught up!!! Well at least for right now.

I forgot to tell you all, the last two Sunday we held the services outside, once in a park called Cathedral Pines, it was a lovely service and last Sunday we went to South Haven County Park. I have to admit it was soooo nice, almost makes me wish we could do it all the time, but then I guess it wouldn't be special.

We haven't ironed out our plans for this weekend we may go up to the Catskill MT and do the Rip Van Winkle tour, it is a little past the "Prime" leaf peeping season but it is still beautiful, I love hiking in that area. We take Snickers she just loves hiking with us too.

I have pulled out my lights for outside and I am testing them so far so good! I still cannot believe in two months time it will be Christmas Eve, oh my where has the time gone.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Like all of you, I look at the count and stand amazed! I remember how some of us were lamenting the end of the Season last year, but time has quickly flown; and we are now at a new beginning! I LOVE this time of year! Hubby is taking me to work a little early. A friend is driving me to my radiation appointment this afternoon because Hubby has to go to the Elks Lodge and work on the Scouts' Dinner for tonight. Since Hubby is taking me to work, I don't have to have my friend follow me home to park my car. Then after the radiation, we are treating her and her husband to the dinner. That way, it's a win-win situation: I am thanking her and the Scouts make money! Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning everyone. It is too warm here for me. Yesterday, today and for the next couple of days highs in lower 70s and lows in lower 40s. But better weather is coming, starting Sunday forecast highs are lower 50s and lows in lower 30s. Much better mid fall weather.

I have a lot of leaves to move. Our home is in the woods so I just rake/blow them away from the house and off the driveway. I worked on it this past weekend but lots more have fallen since.

Can't believe how fast time is moving by. Our family's Christmas season always starts the weekend of Nov 9. It is son's birthday and since he was 5, we go to Pigeon Forge for the weekend to celebrate. They turn on their Christmas lights that weekend and we always look forward to it. Our son will turn 17 this year so he probably will not be going with us too many more times.

it would be wonderful to see Pigeon Forge as the Christmas lights are turned on! your son is lucky to share such memorable times w/ y'all!

Good morning! Happy Pines Day!!! After reading posts this morning I am totally shocked that 2 months from today is CHRISTMAS EVE!!! I can't believe I didn't think of that when I wrote the date this morning!!! I must have tooo much on my mind! Anyway....AWESOME!!!!
Tomorrow night I am getting together with 2 (maybe 3) friends & their kids to watch It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown AND Garfield Halloween! I am bringing some warm wine with mulling spices & of course we'll have snacks! We are all bringing something to work on while we watch... (I'm bringing my afghan, another friend is making an afghan & I'm not sure what the other 2 are bringing to work on) - I'm really looking forward to it!! Go figure tomorrow is supposed to be almost 80º & we planned for warm wine. Ah well...it will set the mood for some awesome Halloween shows. This might have to become a yearly tradtions!

I posted in a reply that I watched a cute Christmas movie last night "Christmas Angel" on Netflix. I will definately watch that one again. Sweet movie!

Can't believe we are just a mere 2 months from Christmas Eve!!! Wow...Just checking in the say hello to all my Christmas buddies! I hope e veryone has a great hump day!! We are getting some great halloween weather just in time...we just have a few more days of 80's then I think we are getting down in the 40's at night and 60,s and 70's in the day which is normal...anyhow Last sunday I finished with the rest of my fall decorations! Thanks, Shellie xo The whole left side of her face is swollen. I examined her teeth, nothing abnormal there. There is no tenderness in her face, just the swelling. Can't figure out what happened.....But if it is not better tomorrow, she is going to see the doc. I am planning on speaking with her doctor later today !! xo

Hope you get on ok with dr. maybe a infection of some kind or a abcess
is her eyes ok is he drooling a lot. did the swelling come up slow or fast

I agree, Made !!! It was REALLY warm here today !! This is NOT October weather......Don't tell me this Fall/Winter is going to be warm again.....AAAAARRGH
