WOOO HOOOO Holiday that was the total # of posts in the 2011 Countdown - I am almost positive but I think you pushed us through to a new EPOCH in our MMC Countdown

Wooo Hooo, I do love the bubbly my friend!!! Thank you very much

Boo, hiss to Hurricane Sandy! Go away!

I think my brother/sil from Cape Cod should fly home to Ohio now!! EEK! Stay safe!!!

I read an article that said the effects may be felt as far west as Ohio ...

The new GFS model is showing it making landfall right over long island on Tuesday morning now. The euro model, which has been the most accurate so far, still has it coming in over the DC area and then heading inland. Scary either way.

I just saw that on Foxnews, their main page is tittled : "Halloween Nightmare" ! Talk about getting someone's attention!

I saw another article that dubbed it "Frankenstorm."

Oh and don't forget the candles. The weather channel said it could knock out the power to the whole northeast for weeks.

*groan* I hope that turns out to be only hype. Think about it: that would mean being without power until nearly Thanksgiving.

I guess we should have gone to the supermarket LAST night.

MC... I agree BOOOO HIIIIIISSSSSSSS, this would really be a bummer. :x

Stay Safe my MMC friends...:}

Unhappily, the news stories this morning say the hurricane will be merging with an early winter storm from the West and arctic air from the north---and they're now giving the hurricane a 70% chance of hitting somewhere between Cape Hatteras and Cape Cod. One forecaster recalled that the "Perfect Storm" of 1991 caused millions of dollars in damage---he's calling this one "a billion-dollar storm." Another says that there's no modern precedent to compare this scenario with. They're beginning to make me seriously worry. I guess all we can do is stock up and batten down, and keep an eye on the forecasts. At least we have the weekend to prepare.

I hope it shifts out of everyone's way!

After a week of sleepless nights wondering what was going on, everything is once again right in the world. Chad has his lucky blue shirt on.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is a chilly morning here in northern California. We had just a little rain yesterday, but I don't mind the rain at all. I am loving this chilly weather. Just two more treatments this week, and then I am free for the weekend! I am watching my cute countdown calendar, plus keeping up with Crown's Count on here. I am trying to figure out how to set my Christmas Countdown key chain. I think I will take it to school and try to do it then! I hope each of you have a great day. Thinking of all of you in the way of "wicked weather." I will be back on after we return from radiation. I am going to have some of my leftover glitter truffles later tonight. I only had three last night with Carfl's newest sparkling blend. How I love that camel!!! TTYL.

You are in my thoughts, Seawaters ~ have a lovely day!

Good afternoon from Winter Wonderland!
Took this photo this morning out front.
But it's been snowing since, so it's much more snow now!

This was my view driving today:

The boys are so happy!
They have been waiting for the snow for days now
They are out playing, making
Snowball light and Snowman.

I am happy too! I LOVE snow (before Christmas)

Dinner time here. Hope you have a GREAT day!!!

:dance:Love

Good afternoon, Solice! Beautiful pictures ~ thank you for sharing them with us! I hope you are having a MERRY day!!

Some of the forecasters here in Indiana are saying that we could see snow from it later next week.

*groan* I hope that turns out to be only hype. Think about it: that would mean being without power until nearly Thanksgiving.

It would also drag out the election and that is the last thing we need.

Bring on the snow (I think)....and NO...we do not want this election drug out any longer!!! EEK!!! That thought is almost "scarier" than the storm!!

Good evening, MMC!

I hope all is well with everyone and their families!!!

All is well here ~ Bo survived another day and is happy and snoozing on his blanket pile, Palmer is out of time-out (one hour for clawing at the door ~ she is slowly destroying it :( ) and is looking for Wilson, her neon green ball with the smiley face, Mouse is snoozing, and my brother has taken over the television to watch a horror movie. I have dishes to do, paperwork to catch up on, lists to make for tomorrow, etc. Typical night here cheesy

Have a most MERRY evening and MERRY dreams ~ I intend to!!! But first I have to find Wilson for Palmer

Meceka good luck hope you find Wilson and I am glad to hear about Bo. I have dinner in the oven watching the news about what our local stations are calling Sandy, the Halloween Hurricane, they are worried that the full moon will cause even worse flooding, the boat has been safely put away and we have pulled all the storm shutter down oiled them up and have bottled some more water, rather be safe you now.

Wow I am watching about the election and it looks like a key state is Ohio, wow CM3 and Holiday have you seen either candidate? They were in my neck of the woods during there debate at Hofstra.

I'm boo-hissing Sandy out to sea, too.... Ugh, I am so stressed about it!!
