Good evening,

It looks like we will be getting ready for the storm this weekend, people around here are very sensitive to weather since the beginning of 2011 we have had 2 blizzards, 1 tornado, 1 hurricane, a severe rain storm this past August that dropped 6 inches of rain in 2 hours and washed out 14 roads in my town, and to a much less extent 2 very minor earthquakes. So this area is taking this serious, and we are putting on the brave face for the boys. The weather report about 40 minutes ago said the storm weakened a little, (back to category 1) and right now the projection for landfall is looking like New Jersey. Besides that I had a long day at work, I was able to get a lot of administrative work done for a change, which is a relief heading into my most hectic season. Back to work for 7am. I did buy more white mini lights and picked up a few more Christmas gifts for the boys today, 2 more months!!!!

Make sure you send the bill to the "old" photographer!!!

She is actually not charging us to take pictures! She takes beautiful pictures as it is, and she's doing it as a favor to us. Just like my friends that are re-doing my hair and makeup, they aren't charging anything either. It's amazing how our friends and family have really backed us up in this whole photographer aftermath. My parents are even paying for half of hubs's tux rental and our venue is letting us use the area (except for our ceremony room as they have an event in there unfortunately) for no charge.

I am so glad you will finally have pictures of your wedding !!! But very sad that you had to go through all of this to get them.......xo

Me too CM3, but I know this experience will be much better than the first! It's just a shame that the families and bridal party can't be there, as those are the pictures that we really are missing out on. Oh well...at least we'll get pictures of us individually and maybe some pictures of my ENTIRE dress and veil!!!

Hermione's face seems about 99% back to normal !!! I don't know what caused it but she never acted sick in the LEAST !!

Praying for all who are in the path of this horrible storm that is on the way. The forecasts are saying we will get rain but it doesn't sound too serious, not like those who are right on the East Coast.

At one point during the day today I wasn't feeling too well. I had chills, felt queasy and just really not good at all. It passed but I really hope I am not getting a GI flu or something. I HATE that !! I stopped working and laid on the couch a while and when I got up I was fine. I guess we'll see.

Glad to hear Hermione is almost back to normal! Did the vet say what was wrong? I'm also hoping the storm is not as bad as they're predicting...I'm always slightly wary of meteorologists as they seem to over-react a little with storms in my area, but I am still nervous. I'm also hoping you aren't sick!! Maybe it was just a little bug and it's all gone! Hoping for the best for you!! <3

:ghost:Well we are trying not to dwell on the bad weather right now, we are preparing for the worst but hoping for the best... Anyway, last night hubby and I were talking about our plans for the weekend ~ we always plan out our hikes, makes it more enjoyable to get there and know what route to take, but he threw in a curve ball where I expected a fast ball... He wants to go the Sleepy Hollow, they DO A HUGE Halloween themed weekend and this is the last one of the season, so we might do both, maybe only go for a short hike and then pop over to Sleepy Hollow and see the "real" Headless Horsemen... BOOOO HHHHHHAAAAAAAA MMMMAAAWWWW HHHHAAAWWWWW LOL my scary laugh for Halloween!!!!

hubby comes home today & i'm so excited!

daughter has a big test today she's been worried about. hope she does well on it.

my son Seth started a few new classes this 8 weeks. golf & basketball you would think are easy & they are it's just he's very stiff after playing almost 3 hours of b-ball the 1st day. i told him he's out of shape from high school. now he believes me, lol.

Will has had a cough for about 1 month now. it scares me because that was the 1st sign of his illness in the beginning. he said this is a dry cough, unlike before, & he thinks it's allergies. i sure hope so. he has an appt. w/ his doc the 1st part of december but i told him he may have to call & get it moved closer.

my body is screaming...can ya' hear it? hehehe just tired.

how's everyone? got any plans this weekend? we are going to my aunt & uncle's tomorrow for a cook out. we always have the best time there. lots of family come & friends, it's great!

Good lunch time everyone!

I heard about Sandy today in the news. She sure did a lot of damage in Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica. I hope you all stay safe that there aren't a lot of damages at your places. Be careful!

Yesterday was our company fair and the party afterward. I stayed at the office and did what had to be done. Because I wasn't feeling well, I went home. Others (some from my team as well) went all out and partied way to heavy. If it would have been a company only party, then it wouldn't be a problem. But there were still customers there and I just think that isn't a appropriate behaviour. Anyway there won't be any official consequences from our bosses. Only my work colleaque and I think aren't that happy.

Hubs and I are also very excited because that same ex-coworker is retaking some wedding pictures that our original (awful) photographer missed the first time around. We picked up hubs' tux yesterday, I got my dress and veil from my parents' house today, I have hair and makeup appointments tomorrow morning, then we have the entire day to shoot! I am sooooo excited, so are hubs and our friend!!

I agree with others, send the bill to the old potographer!

Bo sends love back! I love Palmer ~ she has personality galore, but she tends to get carried away when she is playing or wants attention and as a result, there is damage in the house. I'm hoping she will calm down as she ages!!! {{{Hugs}}} to her twin, {{{Hermione}}}. I'm so glad the swelling has gone down on her face!!! Hello Christmas friends!

It has been a while since I've posted...just been so incredibly busy!! I've been spending a lot of time with my "twin" and her kids, my "niece" and "nephew", which has been tons of fun. Last week, I was able to spend time with two of my close friends from Kohl's. We went to Hobby Lobby and then ate at the new Buffalo Wild Wings in our area. It was soooo awesome! I love sports themed restaurants more than most girls...I blame my dad! =) This past Saturday was also my friend Emily's wedding, which was tons of fun! She looked absolutely amazing, and it was hubs' and my first "official" outing as a married couple! <3 The next day was my "nephew"'s Christening, which I got to stand in for because the actual godmother couldn't be there. (I was not allowed to be the godmother as I am not baptized Catholic. =( ) Their afterparty was a lot of fun, although my "twin"'s mother-in-law kinda fought with me, which I thought was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. This week so far, I've been able to hang out with "twin" and the kids again, as well as run some errands with one of the ex-coworkers from last week.

We have another busy weekend ahead of us. Saturday we are going with a group that includes my parents, in-laws, and friends of both to a paddlewheel murder mystery cruise! I am really excited about this, although I am worried about how the Chesapeake Bay waters will be with the impending "doom" of Hurricane Sandy! Hubs says not to worry as it's still a few days out, but I am still slightly nervous. Then Sunday is hubs' grandparents' 60th anniversary party! Busy busy busy, it never ends!!

Hope everyone is doing well and that everyone who is in the path of Sandy (myself included!) stays safe!!! Love to all!

No seriously, I really do like them and still use the C-7's around portions of my house for Christmas, like around the deck and such. I love'm. I feel they're sort of, a little retro, because that's the same kind of lights my grandparents would use to decorate the outside of their house back in the 70's...

I have to admit I really like those C-7's too, it really takes me back!
