Even tho you live in CA & me in the US, I can't for the life of me understand what this person's problem is. It simply isn't true. First off, I agree with others here who have posted that Social Media is in fact a cloak for many weak, mean, and ill spirited people, without respect. That is nonsense and she in turn is the disrespectful one, no common sense, no descenty. Also, my neighbor two doors down from me is a US Veteran, he & his family are putting up the tree this weekend. What does that make him? I would like to speak with this person in a debate, I would like to show her just how rude and discussing her comments are. Some people should just learn to keep quite, via mouth, or written word. She is one of them. I do not stand for hurting other people just because we do not agree, she is shameful, and should be told so. Her words are extremely hurtful and disrespectful to all those who have served and do not share her opinion.

Ok wow I got hot didn't I!!!! I may be a little biased tho hubby served in the early 90's was in Operation Desert Storm and although I do not put my tree up until after Thanksgiving it has nothing to do with Veterans Day it is a very special day, but I do have a whole Thanksgiving Village up. OK, OK, I need to stop I am getting hot all over again.

Sorry, it can be confusing.

Bernie is my father-in-law, and he owns Bernie's Grocery here in Bellville. Mrs. Hilda is my mother-in-law, and owns the (recently closed) Anderson House Restaurant here in Bellville, too.

I'm sure to lose some weight now!
 
Darn it. I missed the first 20 minutes of Annie Claus. I went down to the horse track with my neighbor to place a couple of bets on tomorrow's Breeders cup and lost track of time.
 
I'm watching it right now!! Apparently, next week, Hallmark Channel starts airing nonstop, back to back Christmas movies until Christmas. AWESOME!
 
Christmas is coming! Kim and I went to Shopper's Drug Mart (Comparable to CVS or Walgreens in the U.S.) this evening. The store was fully decorated and Christmas was filling their Seasonal aisle! On top of this, Christmas music was playing!! My first traditional Christmas song of the Season was "Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer." I am trying to hold off listening to music until the Season begins, but I can't control the music played in stores, right!? :)

Had a great day of shopping picking up some really wonderful stuff at the thrift stores.
I bought a Keurig machine today, on sale at $88 from $130 plus the store was having a tax free day! Using it for my job demoing it sold me on it, I really like this machine. I only have trouble finding hot chocolate for it, but the sales clerk says they are having the same problem. So I will just keep checking and then buy a crate of it when I find it!!

AFV is having their Christmas special tonight!
 
Good evening, Christmas family !!

It's been a busy day of Christmas activities !!!

First, I started the day with Music Choice and listened to Christmas music for a good two hours. Then we went to breakfast, got logs for the fireplace, got new hooks to hang the garland with then on the way home stopped for some groceries.

We set up our new tree tonight to see how it is going to look and to make sure it is working correctly - It is and GOSH !! It is so beautiful !! I can't wait to put it up in 3 weeks !!!

I haven't had a real chance to read every single post but I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmassy Friday !!

Now I am going to settle back and watch the rest of Annie Claus and then the next one, I think it is Mistletoe Over Manhattan !!

i missed a bit of it too. i remember it from last year, very sweet movie. the funny thing is, i never remember movies from LAST WEEK. guess it's because it's Christmas related! hehehe!

kids skipped out on me & hubby & now he's asleep on the couch. how in the world are we gonna get this tree done w/no one around?

Hey there MerryM !!!!! Awwwww...Thank you so much for praying for my baby. My Hermione is doing MUCH better !! The swelling is all gone in her face and she has really calmed down with the anti-anxiety medication !!! How is Will ??? I have been praying for him and your mom and dad too !! xo
