I wish I could have seen those Christmas variety shows, they were a little before my time. Unfortunately TV doesn't have shows like that anymore. Thank God for DVD's and YouTube. I have the Ed Sullivan Christmas DVD, and the Johnny Carson Christmas DVD, I need to get more though. cheesy

We just bought the Dean Martin Christmas Show DVD last night, and watched it before we went to bed. You might want to get it---it's a winner! We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I may be guilty of mentioning the Spugs too much ... but I just had to mention them again on their 100th anniversary. Wish I could find a genuine vintage Spug pin, but I really doubt any of them survived.

I have spent the whole day involved in Christmas stuff, listening to hours of Christmas music, wearing my new Christmas Vacation t-shirt:

I have all my inside lights up, and I finally found a set of c7 ceramic multi colored lights at the 7th different store I went to. I found them at Lowe's, I went to Home Depot and asked if they had c7 ceramic multi colored lights and the person looked at me like I had 4 heads! Ceramic? All our lights our out. was her only response. Oh the ignorance when it comes to Christmas lights and decorations, I really need to open a store to and teach people the difference between c7, c9, minis, warm LED, cool LED, there is a NEED for it!!! cheesy I also fixed my Santa stuck in the chimney, LC is ecstatic!!!

Good evening, Christmas family

YOW !!! Am I ever tired tonight. Last night was amazing sharing the start of the season with everyone. Staying up past midnight, however, has taken its toll all day !! Oh well, it was worth it.

I think I am going to take Friday off to work on getting Christmas cards ready. If some of you happen to get the same card this year as last, I hope it will be okay !!!! I can't remember which ones I used for whom !!!

My rash is FINALLY going away from the Cele*rex.. UGH it was really bad. I sure hope the rheumatologist has something that helps all the pain and swelling. The arthritis is now starting to affect my finger joints or my metacarpophalanges as well as my toes (metatarsophalanges) In other words.........IT HURTS LIKE THE DICKENS !!!!

We finally got some good news on all of my medical bills. The last two bills that we've been waiting on finally arrived...and they're not too bad at all! Yippee! More Christmas $$$!

I still can't figure out why I have to pay for two ambulance rides. The first ambulance broke down mid-trip, and I had to be transferred to another one halfway to Savannah. LOL! I will say that the first one didn't charge nearly as much as the second one. Ah well. I'm through with ambulances, anyway!

Elizabeth's stage debut in the Nutcracker ballet starts this Friday! I'm so proud of her!

Having to pay for two with one not being your fault doesn't make sense? It's like receiving the wrong meal and having to pay for both the meal you ordered and the one you were first given... Kind of a bad example, but oh well.

The perfect night for Lovemas! I am a little conflicted due to the fact that its on a Friday. I have a feeling I will be re-connecting with old friends that I only see once a year. Still, Lovemas tempts me to stay in!

That is so funny, MC. I did a search to see if I could find a pin. I have a friend who is an Elks Historian, and he searches everywhere for old Elks stuff.

Hello all! I have missed way too many days on here! Last week my dog was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and I have been up and down with emotions. I would be so happy one minute because he seemed so well then the next would be down thinking of his diagnosis. Good news is that yesterday he went in for a check up and the vet said his heart and lungs were responding well to the medication and he is doing very good! He never seemed ill except for a cough, he is alert, happy, active and eats well. The cough is gone since taking the medication.

In other news, two of my neighbors have their outdoor Christmas lights up and tree in the window!

I will be busy within the next 2 weeks so will try to get on here when I can. I hope I can find all the special post on here to catch up on those at least.

I hope you all have a Merry Day!
